After seeing Sue for many years and having what I thought was a very good patient therapist relationship she essentially ghosted me without any warning or explanation.
She didn't even say why or even call me to tell me she wouldn't be seeing me anymore.
She didn't give me the courtesy of telling me herself, I had to find out from her receptionist.
She then palmed me off to one of her colleagues.
They ended up falling out too and her colleague left the practice so I was left without a therapist.
The whole thing was bizarre and left a really bad taste in my mouth.
In the months prior Sue barely touched base with me.
This was during in a time where I needed her the most too.
To this day I still have absolutely no idea what happened.
My doctor, my insurer, even Sue's own colleagues had no idea why she did this.
Something like this should be discussed, planned properly and thoroughly.
At least let the other providers know, that is the bare minimum.
You don't just discard and abandon your client's without any warning or explanation.
This is completely unethical and unprofessional.
For the wrong patient it could be quiet dangerous.
It was quite a hurtful, confusing and disappointing experience to say the least.
I once held Sue in very high regard but after this experience I would never recommend her to anyone.

I spoke with Sue on the phone about treatment i was looking for. I have a very specific requirement, she went on to tell me, i was very fragile and needed alot of care. When i corrected her she hung up on me.
She then texted me back to say... oh her phone was 'petering out' which i feel is dishonest.
A respectful psychologist would apologise or just recognise this might be construed as demeaning to a client who just opened up their history to you.

I was looking for a psychologist who had done work on working with their own prejudices with race. She straight up told me that she has not.

I think that it is important for people to know that this is who they are seeing, or who they might be going to see in the future.

I saw Sue in early 2022, for a couple of months,she appeared very professional but all she wanted was to make money of me, by selling her neurofeedback sessions which dont work .She failed me miserably when I needed her most, zero duty of care all about making money.
