Traditionally, I have always been attracted to high-impact movement and there had been no better form of exercise for me than dancing where fitness was a wonderful side-effect of my passion for music. Like so many women, I developed lower back pain which I treated conservatively over the years, rotating through physios and chiropractors for a flareup but began to look for an approach which valued prevention over cure. I came to understood the life-enhancing benefits of stretch therapy but I had to overcome a life-time of strong resistance to 'slow' and meditative movement!

I am so glad I breached my comfort zone.

I have been a stretch therapy student of Rana's for almost all of 2024. Rana is exceptionally skilled as a stretch therapist but she is also fun. Her background as a professional counsellor shows in her positive welcoming of difference - in ability, aptitude and motivation. She designs each class around our needs. She is never sharp or impatient as we journey towards greater flexibility but always praising us as we gain greater dexterity. She lets us pace ourselves. Her physical touch is gentle as she guides our bodies. Her classes have become a highlight of my week. She is a model for all women wanting to reclaim their Best Self. I cannot recommend her more highly. If you have been thinking you would like to try stretch therapy, you will never regret choosing the wonderful Rana Jewell.

A few years ago, I received a work injury which has left me with incredible back pain. The pain became so bad that my day-to-day life was affected, this in turn effected my mental health. I didn’t want to use traditional pain killers for an extended period as I was experiencing side-effects.
I have always been somebody who enjoyed working out and being fit and healthy.
I started to explore natural ways to heal my back and relieve my pain.
Though change I met Rana at an event and found her friendly and willing to discuss my back issues. Rana listened to me and what I was experiencing. She gave suggestions for techniques and worked with me to make sure that they were working. After our initial consultation, Rana has checked in to see how the techniques are working and offering suggestions for increased stretch.
If you are a person that wants to improve their movement with out the pain, the technique that Rana uses works for me and I’m sure that it would work for you.
