Dr. Steadman and her associate Dr. Vangelena are incredible people. They are so kind and welcoming. Every visit feels like going to see a friend rather than a doctor. In only a month of being under their care I feel like I have made so many breakthroughs, more so than years of working with therapists and psychologists before. Dr. Steadmans office opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective on life. Every day I wake up excited for something. Even the receptionist is such a welcoming and wonderful person. The whole office is full of people who are kind and genuinely fun to talk to.

I have been thinking about making this review for a couple years now.
I first went here struggling with depression in 2019 after much trial and error with medication. Dr. Stedman really pushed me to do TMS. I was hopeless, so i did it. However today, 3 years later, i have horrible memory loss and anxiety that is way worse than what it was. In the end, the TMS did help my depression. But i dont think i was properly informed on the side effects. I remember her doing a series of memory tests that she would do again after my TMS to check, but she never did. Looking back, I think i shouldnt have been rushed into TMS. After the TMS, the appts i had where i was expecting Dr. Stedman was with a different practitioner and i had to explain my case over again every time. I just got frustrated and stopped going. I also dont appreciate Dr. Stedman trying to get me to try her fad diets she was doing while i was struggling with an eating disorder, i'll never forget that.

Dr Stedman is amazing. She is extremely helpful patient and listens to you when you need to talk. She is welcoming to all and you feel comfortable telling her everything. Couldn’t suggest her enough. The staff at the office is great too. Kristle helps out with so much and is so nice. Since coming here I have definitely found some peace.

Dr. Stedman has helped me get out of a major depression that I have had for years. She really spends a lot of time and finds out about you and your issues. She did a special test that identified mold in my system and other deficiencies and addressed them. She is very responsive, kind and caring. I'm grateful to her that I'm feeling so much better. Also, Kristal the office assistant is always very helpful. Elizabeth who administered TMS therapy was exceptionally caring. It's a great practice that I would highly recommend.

Everything was great at the intake. My ptsd, mdd, and anxiety was recognized, I took a genesight test and felt heard and on the way to actual recovery…until every appointment turned into an intake.

Repeatedly being told appointment after appointment my anger from repressed ptsd therapy must be “the bipolar” because it runs in the family despite my lack of criteria. After directly asking where my manias were, and after shared contact with my therapist I was still met with the same response like Groundhog Day. If you have insurance she loves to book you weekly so she can continue to see you yet treat you as if she has no memory of prior appointments.

After nearly a year of being her patient and her repeatedly invalidating my anxiety, her office failing to fill in my script on time twice, and jumping to a conclusion that because I’m 3mg short after 30 days I must have taken all 3mg at once and abusing my meds (as I was asked by her on the phone), I received a letter in the mail a week before my script runs out stating I was being dropped as her patient with recommendations for drug rehabilitation centers.

Stedman dropped me, a patient with two anxiety disorders and ptsd a week before my script was due to be refilled, and viewed my anxiety and anger as irrational and bipolar.

In my opinion, if you want someone to enforce the unhealthy life robbing mentality that the world is solely a greedy, selfish, gaslighting, emotionally unpredictable place, then this is the office for you. If you’d prefer to grow from your ptsd, the most Mary Stedman is going to do is throw vitamins and a 300 dollar genesight test at you.

Dr. Stedman is the most caring doctor I have ever visited, she takes her time in her evaluation, she is an excellent listener and absolutely does not interrupt when you are trying to open up. I have been to other similar doctors in which they only spend 5 to 10 mins, give you an Rx and see you in a month. Dr. Stedman is in class on her own in excellence, her staff is friendly and you dont feel out of place. I look forward to my next appointments!
