Beautiful place and facilities. The camping area is spotless, clean, and well maintained. Never been to a drop toilets that are so clean & smelling so good. The caretakers Dennis  and Kim are working so hard to look after this beautiful place, this is the best and one of the most pleasant National Park Campgrounds we have been to. Definitely worth the visit…Can’t wait to come back! Bring lots of mozzie spray. Very quiet during the week but busy on the weekends. There are no free campers here because everybody is checked in, no wood collecting either, and most importantly, nobody empties their portable toilet cassettes into the long drop toilets. I wish all National Park Campgrounds were like this. Thank you again, Dennis and Kim. FIVE STARS *****

What a beautiful place to come and chill for a week or so. Water is pristine and the facilities and camping area clean and well maintained. The sites are generous and perfect for all vehicles. We walked from our camp site to Pebly beach rather than take our car. It was perfect! The ocean was like a tepid bath and the white sand clean. Soo much wildlife to view and not alot of people this time of year. We actually had the entire beach to ourselves. Get in early cos this place is fully booked during the holidays or, better still camp when we did 2 weeks before school was out.

Longdrop toilets, no BBQs or picnic shelters.

Nice clean shady spots...a few mozzies.

The caretakers have firewood for sale but there is some NPWS supplied wood on the way in...it isn't that great so bring your own or buy it.

The creek is great for swimming, SUP or floating in and the beach is an easy 600m walk away.

A few good walks in the park as well.

Such a nice spot to camp! Beautiful tidal creek which is crystal clear when high tide is approaching. A really stunning walk to the beach. The only downside was the mosquitoes, but it’s definitely worth a stay.

Honestly I’m surprised by the other reviews. It’s an okay campground layout, but the location isn’t great. You’ve got the river behind but you can’t fish there. It’s seriously a long walk to the beach or the alternative river access. Too long to carry fishing gear or send your kids down in my opinion. The site is surrounded by stagnant pools so mosquitos and march flies are a battle. Extensive tree cover eliminates any breeze so during wet weather it’s incredibly humid. If you rely on solar you’d need to choose carefully. Thanks to the caretakers for clean toilets. Site 5 is not suitable for any type of camping in my opinion. Parks NSW could be considerate and include pictures of sites as they vary hugely. Explored the area to decide whether to extend for a second night and still left anyway. Wouldn’t recommend.

Beautiful peaceful spot in an amazing natural bush camp with the endless beach just a short stroll away. A herd of Brumbies was a lovely bonus. Watch out for the resident Goanna's.......they are very cheeky!

Some nice campgrounds. Wouldn't take large caravans, but good for camper trailers. Some nice tent sites.
Long drop toilets.
