I attended this clinic and was actually pleased with the service.

The reception staff were fantastic. 2 very polite young ladies who were sincere and attentive to patients entering the clinic.

Inside the clinic was clean and plenty of seating for patients. Lots of information available and a great TV which was showing teeth been removed (was interesting not a negative).

The doctor I saw was also fantastic. Whilst I felt my matter was a bit trivial he took an active interest in aiming for a better health outcome overall.
You can tell a lot by a doctor who uses a stethoscope to do a blood pressure instead of relying on a machine and I appreciated him getting an accurate reading.
The doctor provided some good overall insight and requested relevant tests but also took a good patient history.

Upon leaving the lovely reception staff were most polite and a credit to the clinic.

This clinic also provides a pathology collection service and a nurse which again are absolutely useful.
Plenty of parking in the area and right next door to the light rail station.

I have read some of the previous reviews and I personally feel that you need to go in for yourself at these types of places.

Stay away from this surgery. The rudest people I have ever come across. They withhold the patient’s (mine) test results and refused to provide me with the information. Then they said a doctor has to provide that information without explaining that that would not incur a fee until the third phone call. By this time I have been hung up on twice by the practice manager, Danielle, whose job I thought was to resolve customer issues, not escalate them. Danielle came on the phone and said ‘only the doctor can read you the results’ and hung up on me.
I will not be attending this practice again even if I was dying. It should not take 4 phone calls and the owner to call to explain what was required to get my test results:

STAY AWAY from this surgery.

The doctor that I saw was 1. Not helpful. 2. Not full time, meaning it is difficult to get follow up appointment and continued support for your illness if required. I feel that they are running more like a business to make money than actually helping you to get better.

The experience that I had with the front desk team was highly unpleasant also with the receptionist consistently cutting me off before I could finish my sentence. Far better GP’s out there

Dr. Varun is simple, superb , human being, sober , friendly approach with smiling facing with his selfless services. Always amazing treatment. He is an extraordinary intelligent doctor with human values. And after treatment he himself calls the patients and follow up their condition, which is a rare quality we see in doctors nowadays.Thank you

After enquiring if they accept other pathology referrals for bloods which the answer was yes. When I got there the lady had no clue what so ever to do with the tests and sent me elsewhere. Given the fact that there’s instructions to help you would think she knows how to do her job. Also to get a seperate referral in the first place was a mission with the dr asking 1million questions just for a simple blood test! But they will happily give out prescriptions and meds

My experience at Star Medical has been of high standard. The GP's that my family have seen are knowledgeable and I always leave feeling confident that our medical needs have been seen to. The staff are incredibly friendly and have been amazing in accommodating my needs especially in those times when compassion is needed most.
