Drove from Bright to Myrtleford on a Saturday to see a doctor! Receptionist was most helpful and I only had to wait a short time to see a doctor and get necessary medication! My wife had been diagnosed in Melbourne with a chronic illness. But her first visit to a male doctor at Standish St left her in tears when he accused her of making it up. Weeks later she managed to get an appt with a female doctor who's only goal was to collect the Medicare fee. My wife was continually interrupted and was not even allowed to explain why she was there. Again she left in tears. Could not have been a worse experience.

Don't waste your time, receptionist is incredibly rude and condescending. When I asked what my appointment would cost I got 2 different answers, when I questioned it, her response was that it will depend what the doctor wants to charge you on the day.

Standish st surgery is like medical centres used to be, years ago.. great friendly staff, short wait times.. ...Comfortable waiting areas, 2rooms ,....most of all , attentive doctors and nurses 🤫
