The care is basic, people left for hours in there own secretions,90 per cent are Indian background ,very disproportionate in staffing as they always talk in there own dialogue, and the food is enedible. Most of the staff I feel try but it's like being in Mumbai hospital.
Giving one star is being generous.

You call this a hospital?! According to the patient I visit here the food is so dry, there's hardly any staff around. It's falling to bits, get yourselves up and ask for funding if you struggling honestly this place is more depression then the mental hospitals themselves. And a cleaner complaining about some flowers just touching the walls come and grow up

I would suggest everyone take your family or friends elsewhere!!!

My mother in law is there right now, and loves being there. Yes the building is run down, and the government should freshen it up, but the care is great. They do have doctors that visit the patients.
The staff are lovely and the food is good.
she is not well enough to go home and still needs nursing assistance.
She loves the interaction with the other patients.

The government and more specifically, the department of health and wellbeing, should be absolutely ashamed of the state and level of care in this so called hospital (rather looks and feels like deaths waiting room). My grandfather spent over a month there and it was horrible. On numerous occasions, nurses had to be told to give him his medication and when they did, we often found medication scatted on the floor next to his bed. Out of all staff, only one had the qualities of a true nurse. If you or your family member have the opportunity to be sent to a different facility, TAKE IT!

I recently visited a relative in this hospital, and it was my first time there. I was disgusted how run down it is. It looks like it hasn't been painted for years, the colours are awful. I am sure the government can afford to put a bit of money into it to have it repainted and rooms tidied up a bit. I understand it maybe heritage listed but i am sure that doesn't stop it being upgraded.
