I have seen Dr George Pitis for over almost 20 years for various injuries. The care, kindness, and absolute professionalism I have received from George, his extended team of therapists, and the front desk crew, has been nothing short of amazing.

George is the most thorough investigator of injuries and a great source of knowledge. He shares his knowledge with you to help you understand your diagnosis, and how to move forward.

To date, George has a 100% strike rate of diagnosis of all my injuries, prior to confirming that diagnosis with MRI. He really is exceptional at his craft, and a wonderful human being as well.

Dr Pitsis is very professional, compassionate and patient. From my first visit, I could feel and trust that my health issues would be attended to in full. After my first injection I could see improvement, and hope the further follow up will help me to get to a pre-injury state. Also all his staff including the physiotherapist Brendon Ford are well organised and helpful. It’s a nice feeling to be recognised by my name and face, they really care for my well-being. Therefore without restraint I fully recomended Dr. Pitsis and his staff.

I see Dr Pitsis at SMI and cannot fault the quality of the care and service. SMI are a highly professional organisation with friendly and efficient staff. I was experiencing intense pain in my gluteus medius which was preventing me from leading my normally active lifestyle. I was recommended to see Dr George Pitsis for injections. I had my first in December 2022 and my second in February 2023. I didn’t need my third in April as my injury had improved to the point whereby I have been able to return to my pre injury activities. So happy with my treatment plan.

George and the team at SMI were amazing. I have been in for a number of sports injuries that might have otherwise kept me from getting back to my usual training schedule, but the swift action and expert knowledge have resulted in a much faster than expected recovery.
