The doctor was kind and caring, however I did not feel comfortable with all the advice given for my child.

In regards to the location - it is not pram or wheelchair friendly with a manual single door which is up a small plastic ramp, there is seating all around and a table too which blocks accessibility, especially with a waiting room full of patients and people who aren’t paying attention, the rooms are small as well. I would not recommend taking a pram although if there is a wait you may have to find alternate means of comforting your child.

Yes, you will have to pay upfront on arrival and you will need to make your own claim to Medicare yourself. Make sure you obtain a receipt form the receptionist and from the doctor before you leave (marked as paid).

As others have said, you can hear all conversations being had in the two rooms.

I would also recommend parking in the car park to the right of the service station as the Woolworths parking and getting across the street is a nightmare. Not the practices fault, just a tip.

Bulk billing for children.

We saw Dr Tosin - she was lovely and thorough but the overall experience was awful. The receptionist made us pay upfront and didn’t put the Medicare rebate through. I asked for a proper receipt to do the Medicare claim and was told the Doctor would give that to me after the appointment. We waited an hour, not unusual in Canberra but it’s a stressful environment. Sitting in the waiting room you can clearly hear both Doctors talking to patients as well as hear the patients, it’s quite confronting! Then the receptionist interrupted our appointment to empty the rubbish bin. This will be a one time visit which is a pity as Dr Tosin was great but the thin walls mean no privacy which is unacceptable.

At this medical practice they insist you pay before your appointment. I had to wait two hours for my appointment the first visit so I was very anxious about it, I actually went home between paying and the appointment, I was scared to go back for the new GP. The second time I refused to pay before the appointment, I paid afterwards but then got a call from the Dr at 9pm at night asking if I had paid. Very strange service.

Went in after work as a night shifter for a new melatonin script and a considered opinion/referral for imaging on some ongoing joint pain.

I left with a script with 0 repeats on it and the extremely considered opinion that maybe if I was living in a 3rd world country my joint pain wouldn't seem so bad.

Be prepared to be 'assertive' to avoid walking out ripped off and insulted if you must use this practice.

Edit: The dismissive reply implying I should 'feel' like having no repeats or referral should be indicative of the level of responsibility they feel to provide actual care to patients.

Have only visited once after hours for an urgent issue for my daughter but I was extremely impressed by the female doctor who was highly knowledgeable about paediatrics, caring, thorough, and everything you’d want in a doctor.
