I saw Dr Tarikh and he was amazing. I have been trying to get my daughter into an ent for a long time going to many different doctors. He done the most anyone ever has before I had an call that afternoon and appointment the next week. He really knows how to get things done. I'm so grateful.

Am sick of receptionists that act as gate keepers. I presented with rib and pelvic fractures which had been treated at a public hospital the day before with instructions for follow up at GP. I seriously needed pain relief. Was told booked out for 3 weeks. Told if I paid up $84 in advance I could have a phone consult later that day. Not good enough. I wasn’t there for a script rewrite. I was there with an acute traumatic injury that required intervention. Not 3weeks later.

My elderly mother has been very ill and rang and paid for phone consult. After not receiving the call rang back, no apolgies given, just another phone consult that didn't happen again. Disgusted by this surgery.

I found dr Jamie one of best doctors I ever meet. She treats you as friend as well as doctor. As doctor she pick up things up X-ray that report say thing are fine, Jamie picked up on X-ray that ì had arthritis of spine. Dr Jamie sent me for bone density scan and she was right and went put me on injection to slow it down.she said start on right way or wait speclist report came back. So waited 6 months and she way right and said I had be 55 years to injection. I should had listened to Dr Jamie advice as can't over specialist and she was putting my health first. I was ònly 45. When I was 52 my back and hip pain was so bad, my local gp said we send for another bone density test and read machine and said X-ray it bad news as it as was colour coded was in low range as knew guy from Dr howl at Warner Bay and now at prp X-ray at adamstown. As Jamie for condition that doesn’t exit in Australia. I very lucky to have 7 years ago as her books were closed. Good luck getting them on the phone, even if they answer you could get hung up on. When you finally do get through the service is very poor, from the door to the doctor. They say they will do something and never do, you will have to chase and chase them to followup and even front up in person. Had to attend 3 times for vastly different opinions then come back for results and they charged every time for something that should have been sorted in the first meeting. Referals were lost, my whole file went missing at one point. While waiting I saw some poor old bloke who just needed dressing changed on a wound get turned away because they accidently double booked his appointment.
Strongly suggest attending somewhere else. Don't be desperate like I was, it will cost you.

I booked an appointment specifically to sort out paperwork required by Centrelink to prove my disabilities. I showed my doctor the app which stated the specific documents needed for my DSP claim. My doctor had no idea what they were and wrote 2 sentences then charged me knowing I hadn't worked since January. I've been going to this surgery for over 2 years and it's been inconsistent and unprofessional the whole time. A few good doctors don't cancel out the rest who don't know what they are doing. Edit. I had begged for 4 years to have a medication change due to the severe side affects to be constantly told no too dangerous not going to try. Surprise surprise I get lithium toxicity x4 the safe amount and now have less than 20% kidney function and am on the waiting list for a new kidney. My discharge from hospital papers stated a referral to a nephrologist was required with 2 weeks. 4 weeks later and no referral has been made. I have requested my medical documents to be transferred to 4 different surgery for those surgeries to tell me southlakes has not sent the files. They have with held my medical information so I cannot be seen at another surgery. I called reception to make a phone appointment, no mention of full fees if you havent been in person within 12 until after the appointment, as a disability pensioner this is an absolute disgrace. Do not go here at all.

Had an appointment booked in last Friday over the phone. They never called me or let me know they were not going to call me and it was something very important. I called the after hours that ended up hanging up on me after a 15 minute wait each time so was left with nothing. Now on Monday morning I am trying to reach them and the line just says line busy and hangs up on me. I go to check there website and it’s blocked because they havnt paid for there certificate for the website. Worst doctors I have ever dealt with in my life. It’s sad that this is the only place I can go as I’ve been there the last 12 months and no where else because of covid I cannot see another doctors surgery!!!! Oh and to top it off the receptionist one time actually asked me when I rang to book an appointment what my appointment was for!! Confidential!!!!
