Such a bad university, you can not reach staff at all and the services are horrible. Furthermore, it takes around 5 business days for services to reply to your email regarding any concern with subjects. What are the staff doing? There seems to be no responsibility for staff and so thought towards their students needs. I would not recommend this university. I would go to Griffith, Bond or possibly UQ with a lot better services. Last year our placement was so disorganised to the point students left!

Avoid, This place tries to deliver content way too quickly, saying "The southern Cross Model" its great! it's 6 week terms, meaning anything technical like say Physics, or Calculus is delivered way too quickly, I have not heard ONE student, praise this model, it's just a way for this "university" to double its money, paying teachers for half the time to deliver the same content. While doubling the students they can take in per year.. We had one unit where they literally delivered Differential calculus in ONE WEEK then Integral calculus the next and expected us to face examinations. Now think to yourself, would you want to learn differential calculus in week? And if so consider your level after "learning" it would it be good? Deep, thorough? Now, on the other hand, could you deliver in a week a calculus course in a comprehensive way where students have a strong basis of knowledge in it? Of course not! The place is actual a joke. The university told students this year its Engineering course is "accredited" in the unit, but it is NOT accredited with Engineers Australia as "provisional accreditation" is not accredited meaning you have to get yourself accredited after graduation. Quite the false claim.
On campus study is 50% online, where a weeks worth of material is glazed over in an hour or less, and a 2 hour workshop once a week also meaning your face-to-face study time and lesson time is HALF that of a regular uni. Now, if you want a worthless education and an unaccredited even more worthless piece of paper after then check this place out! However if you actually want to learn the tings you are studying (and paying 1000 a unit for) , avoid this university at all costs,

This school only cares about taking your money and has serious discrimination issues against certain groups. Most teachers don’t even bother to reply to emails. Avoid this discriminatory school at all costs!

The campus is beautifully located, just minutes from the beach, offering a relaxed yet inspiring environment. One of worst university for international students. I don’t recommend for any international student to study. Cash cow thats exactly how it is. All they want is take money from you as much as they can. The support advisor is pathetic and don’t expect any help from them. Like I said they try to get as much money as they can. Please I recommend no international student should study in this uni unless it’s the only option. And lastly dont expect any help from the support advisor.

I would like to share an incident with you all. I got really bad grades in one of my subjects due to poor referencing. I got discouraged and decided to talk to one of my course coordinators. She really helped me through this & showed the way to tackle this issue in near future.

To any persons looking to be a student here. I strongly advise you to attend anywhere else. This university only cares about its money and reputation. Not its students. The standard of most educators has been embarrassing to witness, and the support is an illusion. You will be left in the dark when you do need help. There will always be an excuse. Compared to on-campus classes, online classes are a complete waste of time. Want to feel like just another number? This place will make sure you do. Go to another university - even if it's at a higher expense. This university will take your money, provide the bare minimum and could not care less about your education.
