As a recovering cancer patient I have lost count of the number of MRIs I have had in the past three years. I have become a bit of a professional patient. I was very impressed with my experience at South Coast Radiology, Ashmore Rd, Benowa. Why? Location ✅ access ✅ easy and free under cover car parking ✅ great internal layout ✅ very clean ✅ met with a friendly and helpful face ✅ no waiting ✅ very well organised ✅ excellent communication from Radiographer ✅ all done ahead of schedule ✅. I recently moved addresses hence why I had to find a new radiology firm. I will 100% be back when my next MRI is due. I am sure all patients will be as impressed as I am. Great work SCR. 👍

My GP wrote two ultrasound items in one referral - it is no problem for me to have two appointments. However, this centre told me that I had to book two appointments on different days! The result is I went to the other radiology clinic who offered two appointments side by side on same day. This centre lost me.

Been there many times and each time has been disappointing to varying degrees. The need to hold my urine in early pregnancy is very difficult in this case, but each time I was required to wait for over 20 minutes while holding my urine - I had an appointment for 2PM, yet couldn't see the doctor until 2.20-2.30! This half hour wait was very painful for someone holding their urine and there was no other patient in front of me as they had just finished their break time, which I thought was inhumane. Later on when my baby went for a check up they changed the time themselves without informing me, causing me to repeat another visit, my baby was very young at the time and I was very disappointed with the place.
