Having benefited from recovery programs run by David Gerber, both as a client, and as an employee, I can speak quite confidently about his expertise in the field of addiction recovery. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience in addiction recovery, and personally helped me beyond any simplistic explanation I can provide for a review. I have recommended his services, wherever he is, because I know that his contributions both create amazing new programs and improve existing ones. So, if David believes one can not only get “Sober at home” but stay sober, I believe him 100%.

I have known David Gerber professionally for 32 years. David's commitment and drive to help those struggling with addiction is beyond words. David has been on the cutting edge of treatment. He is a leader in the field and an advocate for sobriety. I consider David to be an expert resource in addiction treatment, Intervention and overall mental health. Sober at Home is a new concept and a great option for those wanting to achieve and maintain sobriety.

I met David Gerber as my professor at graduate school. Everything he said has proven true in keeping me sober over the past 10 years. He is someone I have trusted and will continue to trust. He knows what works and does not and treats everyone as an individual with compassion and no judgement. Sober at home is a genius idea. David is a true gem in the field of addiction. I believe him with his staff at Sober at Home can truly help someone in their recovery journey.

Sober at Home is an Innovative as well as practical program for those in need of recovery from drug or alcohol abuse/addiction and cannot or chose not to go into a traditional treatment program. It is also a wonderful addition for those who, after treatment, want continued support in the form of facilitated groups. David Gerber who created this program is a seasoned, skilled and passionate professional and advocate for people in recovery. He has worked with people at all stages of recovery and has the ability to help them reconnect with their own sense of motivation and hope. David has put together a group of dedicated professionals to support this dynamic and creative program. Sober at Home is the missing link that can really assist those who need a different or new approach to becoming and staying sober.

Throughout life people come and go, all of them influencing you whether good or bad. I met David Gerber at the absolute lowest point in my life. As an alcoholic, I had completely hit rock bottom and was in desperate need of help, guidance and a friend. Our journey together began in a rehab he lead in 2020. His positive attitude, his faith in me, his sympathy, his empathy, his knowledge of addiction and his professionalism guided me in the direction of healing not only from my addiction but emotionally as well. Today I celebrate 33 months of sobriety. Without Dave’s guidance and continued friendship I wouldn’t have made it. Dave is truly one of the finest people I have ever encountered and I will forever be grateful to him for saving my life.

Sober at Home provides an avenue for recovery for those who may not fit into another paradigm. Having worked previously with its founder, David Gerber, I soundly recommend this program. David's presence with struggling individuals is compassionate, and respectful, matched by his skill and giftedness in leading them through the difficult work of attaining and maintaining sobriety. Our world...our communitiies...need what Sober at Home brings.

I had been struggling with addiction for over twenty years in and out of programs. I met David a few years prior to my actual sobriety date when I was trying to get clean again and again. My last time seeing David I was in a bad place my family wanted nothing to do with me my kids were distant I was on deaths door. He never turned his back on me and never judged me and has always been a big support to myself and many others. He has amazing knowledge and resources when it comes to helping fight addiction and has a big heart and truly cares for the people he is helping no matter what the addiction is. I was doing heroin for about 20 years when I finally got clean and I think Dave for that because seriously life is ok now. The help and tools he showed me a long with the love and compassion made the whole difference for me myself.. again thank you dave

Dave has been an amazing support, and resource to me in not only starting my recovery journey 2+ years ago but up until this very day. He has given me the tools to get, and remain sober all this time. He is a selfless individual who's dedication and care is impeccable, and unmatched by any other professional I've encountered in his field. You are in good hands, he cares!!!! Much love, Dave!!
