Awesome customer service from the Manager + the gym has all machines + weights you need for a nice everyday work out and there is also a boxing bag and area for other type of training or rehab if need it!

Visiting for Christmas.

The cardio section/front of gym is nice and clean.

There is a wide range of strength equipment, it's a shame they're not in better condition.

Strength equipment/bars are run down/rusty. Bars left rust marks on skin/clothing after squats.

Weight plates don't slide onto bars very well on the two half racks near the mirror wall. Same applies for the weight trees.

The last thing you need after heavy sets is to shove 6 individual plates onto the weight trees. I did not try the bars on the olympic lifting platforms.

30° isn't hot for Townsville summer (10am) and yet the gym was a sauna. Hope the gym doesn't have to be staffed to be cooled sufficiently.

What was simply the most convenient gym for me is now the only gym I will go to in Townsville. After moving to the other side of town for work I went to a few other gyms that were closer to my workplace. That lasted about 4 days. Kat keeps Snap Aitkenvale spotless and is incredibly approachable, kind and informative. It was way too hard to leave after experiencing other gyms, so now I go out of my way after work just so I can come back to Snap Aitkenvale.

The crowd here is friendly and the equipment is modern and plentiful. I rarely have to wait for equipment and if I do it's never a hassle with the folks who come here.

The personal trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful with their personal training plans, and 1 on 1 sessions. All staff is happy to help with any machine enquiries. They do need to fix a couple of their treadmills that are out of order, otherwise it’s a great and accessible gym. Shout-out to Leroy for being extremely supportive and encouraging.

Absolutely love this gym, it has a great atmosphere and the people here are so supportive! I highly recommend this for people with gym anxiety and confidence because this gym really helped me get over it!!
