I booked my appointment online, and my doctor was available and ready to see me on time, and no delays.

I have be seen by a couple of doctors over the years as this is my local medical centre.
Today's Doctor was excellent.

Very good at listening, and asked meaningful questions before offering a holistic health plan.

Everything was explained to me in a patient, empathetic, and at a level that matched my curiosity and understanding.

I've been going to this medical Centre for years one because they have great doctors and 2 the services amazing nothing ever seems to be too much trouble and the girls behind the desk always trying to help solve your problem. Dr Rachel Gibling is the best.

Smith Street Medical Centre operates efficiently with polite, pleasant and helpful reception staff. The medical and nursing staff are also attentive and answer all questions as well as keeping precise records. I always know where my health needs are at as they provide me with a printed GP Management & Team Care Arrangements Plan. Having chronic health issues this is a helpful document to which I refer to regularly.

I went to this practice for over 25 years. However, I moved to Cairns 4 years ago for work. I've just had a spinal fusion last week and will be recovering in Newcastle with my family. The girl on the phone said that I can't make an appointment as I'm not a recognised patient anymore. I was told that they can't fit me in for 3 weeks. She sounded young and incredibly unempathetic given the situation. I understand that this practice has renamed and hired all new doctors to try and shed it's bad reputation. But it's not off to a good start in my opinion.
