This has always been my number 1 clinic... But sadly now that Dr Mackinnon is hard to book with, its gone down hill! All the amazing nurses and receptionist have also all gone... I seem to have better luck with my old clinic!

Appalling. Refused any further telehealth appointments for anything until I dragged my almost completely homebound, chronically ill carcass down there in the middle of 3 Cocktail Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer to sign a pointless Opioid Contract. No evidence of medication abuse, because I simply wasn't, just zero concern for patient welfare, I was happy to sign whatever only begged them to please just wait until after Chemotherapy or email document so I could sign & return but they insisted I book an in person appointment & come in just so a Doctor could watch me sign. Absolutely disgusting patient care, no dignity or respect. You are supposed to feel safe with your GP, not suddenly be denied phone appointments for antibiotics when Cancer treatment has you so ill you can barely sit up in bed. Truly shameful & repulsive behaviour.

Up until yesterday, I've generally had a very positive experience at Skye Medical. However, my recent visit for an ongoing issue was extremely disappointing - I almost thought it was a parody.

A majority of the consult was spent watching the Dr type notes, they then disappeared for 10 minutes and when they returned, instead of addressing my concerns, I was advised to try relaxation techniques and remedial massage - groundbreaking! No blood pressure was taken, temperature, etc and I was given a hastily written prescription for alternative pain relief (after I requested it, stating multiple times that what I had already tried at home was ineffective) and told to return in a month if my symptoms are ongoing.

No wonder EDs are choking, when GPs like this can't be bothered undertaking a thorough assessment when patients present themselves. I've learned my lesson, I'll stick to my normal GP and just wait 3 weeks instead of going with the first available.

I will never come here again. The first two GP i had with were good and the follow up regarding the lab tests they wanted me to did not cost me anything. But with my new GP here (not anymore in the future), who was too focus on the computer and even provided me with a wrong prescription charged me more than the previous GP then charged me again on a telephone follow up call regarding my test to tell me nothing is wrong. Ridiculous!

Dr Aisling Dunne is the best doctor I've ever seen. I felt listened to. Never feel rushed ever. She makes great recommendations, and fully explains her reasoning, while allowing for patient autonomy. She goes above and beyond. And the receptionists are lovely there too.

Friendly staff and clean amenities, unfortunately even after months of returning for the same issue that still couldn’t be fully resolved I couldn’t get a referral after asking Multiple times as it apparently isn’t serious enough

Aggressive prejudiced practice! They deserve all the bad reviews they've received. A few months ago I had an 8am appointment to which I walked through thick burn-off smoke, (an unavoidable hazard). By the time I arrived I was rasping for breath. The receptionist demanded I wear a mask and when I tried to explain I was struggling to breathe she and practice manager ignored me and made me wait out the back in the thick smoke. Doctor wore no mask and shrugged off the staff's rude aggressive attitude.
Doctor treatment failed to help and the referral they assured me they made was "lost" setting me back 6 months on the wait list for surgery!

I complained about their incredibly poor service and was accused of being confrontational.

They're dishonest, creating lies to cover their bad attitude.
Take your business to a real doctor if you value your health.

The staff here are great. The service is itself is a Private Billing Practice exceptions are available (confirm with reception staff & or even speak with the Service Provider on the day - they are like us human an able to make decisions or give alternative arrangements depending on individual circumstances/ need also. I personally find the GP I regularly see and the 1 other GP I have seen in person here to easy to talk to and whilst it is generally a busy practice meaning some times you may wait to been seen longer than 1 hopes most times I have been seen in a rather unexpexted short wait time if not on time. There are Allied Health Professional services here also such as Nurses and Dietitian and Pathology unit on-site (extremely handy).
