Megan is a brilliant teacher. She listens, engages and creates an inclusive, judgement free learning environment. The MBSR is well worth the investment and I've been recommending it to so many people, even before I finished the course.

Learning mindfulness through Megan at Simply Mindful has been genuinely life changing for me. This is a sciences based methodology that works and in my experience has led to a calmer and less anxious mind. It has also enriched my relationships. This is just the beginning for me and I look forward to furthering my practice and knowledge through more courses and retreats with the Mindfulness centre. Highly recommend.

I went through the 8-week MBSR course after a friend highly recommended it. I would also highly recommend it! I had Megan as a teacher and she was excellent. Absolutely knew her stuff, and also great at the pedagogy side of things, including just managing the room and keeping classes on time. It was a very warm and welcoming experience with lots of different types of people there getting something out of it. You do have to put a lot in if you want to get the most out of it - almost daily meditation for 8 weeks - but I find it is well worth making the effort.

I had heard great things about Megan and the team of staff anf volunteers at Simply Mindful. In early June I booked for a week's meditation retreat in October. I had to pay upfront to hold a place in the program. As luck would have it, almost immediately I was unable to attend and cancelled my reservation. An error was made and I was to be charged both a penalty and an administration fee that I found excessive. Megan has gone out of her way to explain the error, explain the need for the administration fee (bank fees predominantly), and to rectify matters. So while I can't comment on the received value of their programs, I can comment on the honest, forthright and direct way of dealing with a customer complaint. (This amends a single star review I gave about the error and cost of cancellation.)

I love these guys. I first came across them when they were offering free yoga/meditation in the park. It was a wonderful, tranquil way to start the day and it introduced me to some forms of meditation that I hadn't come across before. Later I joined up to their MBSR course, and I just recently did a silent weekend meditation retreat with them. The staff are amazing: knowledgeable, calm, patient, and just really chill (and funny). The gathering place is cool and has its own wacky vibe, being a former convent & the garden has its own charm and character. Simply Wonderful.

I did my first mindfulness program (MBSR) with Simply Mindful back in 2009 with the objective of bringing more peace and calm into my stressed out busy life. As it turned out, the program transformed my life - with the benefit of calmer, more focused and clear mind. Through the training and then applying it to life, gradually came to understand the voice/thoughts in my head were both not me and not always to be believed; that I had a choice of how I thought about and responded to any given situation; and the genuine happiness of being in the present and having a calmer/stiller mind. To continue the momentum and learning, have continued to attend some of the graduate events and yoga classes at Simply Mindful. They truely have their hearts in the right place - with a mission of a more peaceful world - one mindfulness program or yoga class at a time.
