Very grateful to the amazing professionals who staff our emergency departments. A visit to emergency is never a happy one and the demand for the service creates potential for chaos, however the people I dealt with were hugely patient and professional. Thank you.

I went there with renal colic because kidney stones. It was on a Friday night. I was seen quickly, pain medication given, CT scan, blood and urine tests done in a timely manner. I was then moved to a short stay room for the night I was given fluids intravenously. There were a few people also saying in the room but I was able to sleep and confident with the care and attention I was given. I really could not fault the service I was given.

I visited the Nowra Emergency department on Friday 24/5 and was there a good part of the day. A fabulous triage nurse called Mary looked after me initially. She was unbelievably patient, kind, and caring -- I felt much better straight away. I then saw Dr Matthew, who again, was very focussed and understanding.
Thank you so much, Mary and Matthew! Both professional and dedicated to doing their best for the patients.

Just a shout out to Shoalhaven Hospital ED Team.I spent 3 hrs there yesterday Sunday 7/1/24 from 9.30 to 12.30pm & can I can honestly say that the care provided to me, by the team there was second to none. The entire team there was polite, friendly, kept me updated at all times & displayed a genuine concern for my welfare. Thank you so much for looking after me, I truly appreciate it.

Staff were nice but the wait time for a doctor to see our 4yr old young son was over 6hrs.
I understand people get triaged but 6hrs in this day and age is ridiculous.
