Been there many time only have had one situation where the hospital staff were not the best, I required an SPC change and once the catheter is out of the body yoy have 30 minutes before the hole closes, I was waiting 3 hours the hole closed then they spent 40 minutes trying to stab back into my bladder while I was awake. Couldn’t get it back in then I required surgery. But every other time I’ve been there they have been great getting urgent medical assistance when needed. I do recommend this hospital but if it is more serious I recommend wollongong

Firstly the ambos who brought me here understood my fears took me to we're I'd feel safe after being extremely mistreated by Wollongong hospital as a non person and inhumane.
This is the best hospital I've ever been in. The staff nurses, Drs cleaners, food you all see me as a person and a human being with true feelings. Speak up be polite and respectful tell them your fears you'll be treated well. I know I am.
They don't just look after what you come in for they look at your all over holistic care. I came in with respiratory nearly dying symptoms
absolutely terrified they soothed me. I have severe spinal issues they've looked after these. I have severe complex PTSD they've looked after this. I've got cognitive issues caused by my complex PTSD they've looked after this. I need to give up smoking their helping with that with phychiatricty for stress. Nothing is to much at all. I'm 60 and being treated not like a child just with 100%

Not very fast at all, and sometimes you can either get good or bad staff, no in between. But I find that more than half aren't good. The bad staff are very passive-aggersive and unprofessional.

I recently attended the ED with my wife and I would like to express my delight with the attention we and others were given on the night from particularly Nathan the concierge( I think is his title .)
He did a remarkable job keeping everyone calm and informed and I wish to pass on my appreciation to him in what can be a very difficult environment .Well done to Nathan.

I was a bit nervous coming here after seeing reviews however, my experience was quite positive. The nurses and doctors were absolute angels. I had Dr Jaber for a gallbladder removal and his entire team had the most wonderful bedside manner. They made me feel very cared for and important. I wish I could remember each individual name. Thank you so much to the team.

Have spent approximately 24 hours in the ED waiting room in 1 week. Male triage nurse clearly hates his job and has no care or concern for patients. Male nurse in ED the same. Simply no care or consideration. There were lots of lovely female nurses running around but I was not lucky enough to get one of them. This hospital sucks when trying to get diagnosed

As a child in the adolescents mental health unit this experience was good but one of the doctors who treated me wrote that me going into hospital is not a good idea as now I'm at risk people refuse me help so this hospital has not only put me in danger but also my family
