I will never trust selectability cairns because of how poorly they have treated me an not give me any chances I do not recommend this company if you want to be acknowledged an looked after Properly they hang up on there participants they never answer the phone when you need them they charge ecsesvive amounts of rent an don't use your ndis plan or funding correctly they do not listen to participants an do not respect there participants theres alot of breach of contract an they do not any participants seriously an they do have alot of favouritism an ignore phone calls an emails if you want a really company take your time to find them I recommend if you want good support workers an supported independent living accommodation I recommend origin support services they do community access an supported independent living an respite all in one company the staff are amazing an so are the support coordinators there they are way better than selectability cairns
If you are a coordinator from another company do not go through selectability cairns find better options they don't care about the participants they only care about the funding from there plan an money from the rent

Cairns Selectability BikeShed is a great place for youth to make new friends and learn some bike maintenance skills, so they have a safe ride wherever they go. Other facilities available include table tennis, pool table, bike maintenance area, garden and art and craft, just to name a few. The programs they run are engaging, educational and fun!

I thought I was on a winner with this organisation well how wrong was I. Being a mental health nurse for many years I thought I would try my hand in support work. I cannot believe that this organisation still exists particularly in what there Clients get up to that put them at great risk, (no controlled environment) much is shoved under the carpet, and when you reach out with concerns it's in the "to hard basket". Leadership ZERO, confidentiality ZERO. There SIL operations are non existent. I quit this organisation after a few weeks and I was still getting notifications about each clients. Avoid at all costs.

Selectability is a great company, from management, support coordination, and HR down to support workers. They work well as a team with clear communication between all staff on how best to provide for the participants.

The charges for services provided appear to be excessive. I asked them to provide an itemised receipt but they have refused which is in breach of being a registered NDIS service provider.
