Absolutely disgusting doctors surgery. I have been here 3 times in the last 12 months, every single time I am sent to a new doctor and leave angry and frustrated. None of my concerns have been actually diagnosed treated or taken seriously. Was told today before even asking me why I was there by the doctor that she isn’t taking new patients and don’t expect to be cared for if I have an ongoing illness or require long term treatment. She can’t review all of my symptoms and won’t be able to get back to me with blood results for up to 3 weeks. Most of my physical symptoms were brushed off (sever bruising, extreme fatigue, nose bleeds, pain in joints, my left hand has stopped functioning to full capacity) and doctor wanted to focus on my mental health history and give referral to a care plan. I had to remind her that my past anxiety and depression is NOT why I was there. Refused to refer me to scans because I’ve had them done before by another doctor (who didn’t find the cause for my excessive itchy skin). I have stopped working, I am so physically weak and unwell. Cannot even stay on top of simple house duties let alone do more than half of the activities I usually do (performing, singing, setting up events, running around with kids ). There is something wrong with me and this doctor surgery has failed me. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Update- I have since been Diagnosed with Celiac disease from another doctors surgery in Yeppoon and still have not heard back with blood results from this surgery.

As a person that is new to this area and went there in crisis I'm disgusted. Not only was I treated like I had no choice over my medical treatment but then got charged a full rate on a healthcare care card. I pointed out this mistake and my account was reimbursed and charged the correct price but never received my Medicare rebate. If a doctor has to leave the room to ask for advice and then returns and refers you to headspace when you're 50 years old then they have no clue. I will not be returning other than to get my Medicare rebate rebate.

Absolutely adore Dr Krystal Kemmerling and the team at Scotvale. Dr Krystal has been a shining light in my life and really makes me feel cared for, everything i come to her with gets a thorough investigation until i'm cured. I have recommended her to ALL of my friends and family who have started seeing her too and all become raving fans. Hope she is with you for a long time to come 🙂
