I’d just like to share my amazing experience with Scone Maternity!

I was fortunate enough to experience the best anti-natal care with Lyn and the other lovely midwives with both my babies at Scone Maternity.
I was also able to transfer back to Scone after my delivery at Maitland and stay for 4 nights.
This was the best decision I could have made. Myself and my baby were cared for around the clock by the most beautiful Midwives and although we didn’t need to be in there for any medical reason, nobody questioned it or made us feel they needed the bed or we should be heading home.
I’d like to make a special mention to Bel who looked after us through the nights during her 6 night shifts in a row!
Wow, is Scone lucky to have such a knowledgeable and experienced Midwife. She was like my Angel in the night who offered so much care and support.
I was feeling very blessed to have such an amazing facility like Scone Maternity right on our door step.
I had a private room with an extra bed for my partner to stay if he wanted to, a lovely Sun room for when family came to visit and a great team of professionals there for us whenever we needed.

A big Thank you to Bel, Lyn and the rest of the amazing Midwives at Scone.

Great hospital most of the time, called today though to book a X-ray appointment and unfortunately got a very rude woman who could have gotten her point across in a much better way. A little kindness isn’t that hard

We had a 1am trip to Scone Hospital tonight with our youngest child, due to a bout of croup. The two nurses that met us at the door were the warmest, kindest & most professional ladies and are a credit to the hospital. The Dr saw us quickly and was also great with our son. Thank you ladies for making a scary experience end so positively.

Worst hospital I’ve ever dealt with. Terminally ill mother left to suffer because doctors can’t chart meds properly before going home. Other doctors just go home without seeing patients in need.
That’s if there even is a doctor on site and they’re not using your local substandard GP to deal with complex oncology cases.
Avoid being admitted to this hospital at any cost!!

Had some lovely nurses but also had some nurses that won’t so lovely and actually made me feel embarrassed about coming in for my problems

Honestly will never return to this hospital and will travel to musswelbrook if I ever need a hospital.
Gave out my personal information to family members that I didn’t want information too and made that clear as it’s a private and they told my family why I was in hospital and the reasons for being there without even asking me if they could. Honestly worst hospital

Best care anywhere! I have attended almost every hospital between Scone and John Hunter and the Scott Memorial is by far the pick of litter. There are not enough stars to review it properly.
