Saunaus is truely a hidden gem of Wollongong! I started as a foundational member and loved my sessions every week. The staff, the members, the facilities are always perfect and you really relax as soon as you walk in the door. I now live half an hour away but make time to go back and visit when I can, with matt and rhylka always making me feel at home 💌

This place is amazing, they have created such a wonderful and peaceful space. The owners and staff are so lovely and accommodating. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and soothing – like stepping into a sanctuary where all the outside noise fades away. The interior is thoughtfully designed with area to chill and sip tea, nailing the desired calming and serene setting.
The sauna and ice bath experiences are delightful and have clearly choose high quality products for their services.
I will definitely make this place a regular part of my routine, and it’s done wonders for my recovery and week-to-week well-being. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and reset both physically and mentally.

My mum and I have been using our weekly membership for a few months now, and it’s honestly become one of our favourite rituals. From the moment we walk in, the space feels like a peaceful retreat—calm, clean, and beautifully designed. We always start with the sauna, then brave the cold plunge (still getting used to it!), and finish feeling completely refreshed and grounded.

The Matt, Rhylka and the team are always welcoming and friendly, and it’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a thoughtful, healing environment. It’s not just a physical reset—it’s become a really special time for us to slow down, reconnect and prioritise our wellbeing together.

Can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to build a bit more calm and clarity into their week.

My husband and I went and did the sauna , ice bath and massage chairs . It was really really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Excellent setup and the host was so friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend and we will be back .

Just WOW!! Upon my first steps into this incredibly welcoming, vibrant and fresh modern venue, I felt instantly relaxed. It felt like I was at a health and wellness facility at a 5 star resort.
I was greeted immediately by the very friendly and very knowledgable team Matt and Rhylka. Their enthusiasm and knowledge of all things health and wellness was very impressive. They guided and educated me through to all the very high quality equipment and facilities. It’s very large, two levels being that in high peak busy times there’s no way it would feel at all cramped.
The resting area has Rhylka’s own blends of a variety of teas, there is also her range of cosmetics and essential oils to purchase along with great quality cold beverages and coconut water at the service counter.
I was very nervous to encounter my first cold plunge, they put me at ease and made me feel so relaxed and calm, I LOVED it and understand the addiction people have to it.
Two hours is the perfect amount of time to enjoy all the facilities, to relax and unwind, if you’re able to stay for the duration, if not, it’s still great for the benefits. I had the best nights sleep which was an extra bonus:)
Exceptional!! I can’t wait to return very soon to visit very regularly. 11/10!!!
