Staff, doctors etc are fantastic however the lifts are very small / very narrow and particularly hard for wheelchair use. You'd think for a private hospital like this that it wouldn't be the case however, it is very bad and whilst waiting for a lift, you run late to your appointment due to the limited space, which is hard for wheelchair access so we had to wait for the next and then the next, hoping it wasn't full to fit a wheelchair.
Other's in the elevator also complained. This is very poor and really needs to change!

Car park underneath. Get a parking ticket from your doctors practice for $7 parking. Parking pay machines are not on every level and one has been broken for ages so plan this into your exit and get off lift on correct floor.

I had a treatment with Dr Eisen Liang in 2022 March in SAH what was meant to be overnight stay ended up 5 nights in hospital as my pain level couldn't be controlled.I had no contact from the doctor! I had no idea why I was in so much pain and nurses had spoken with the doctor and he had told them to keep her on the pethadine drip.
The reason I'm writing this review is because as far as I'm concerned there was no duty of care ,I left that hospital holding my stomach and so uncomfortable having to line up to get my meds to go home.
I contacted my GP and I had written a letter to tell her of my experience , I went to her office with this
letter , I said "I can't tell you because I'll cry that's why I wrote the letter ".She was appalled and agreed no duty of care.
All I wanted was to understand why I had so much pain and on my last day I saw him and he dismissed my questions and couldn't leave the room quick
enough.
When you dont know ! its very scary, your in their hands ,and there was nothing.
I had a another post opp with him I had delayed this appointment because I was so angry , I wanted to be in a better frame of mind.
I asked him why he had sedition then catheterization on his forms when their was no sedation until the catheter was inserted so painful ,he said we do it that way , as itsvworks for us ,yet its contradictory to the forms.
I asked why I was in so much pain after the surgery he had no answers .
I asked was it because there was many fibroids he said no not necessarily, he told me to stay on my HRT .
I went back to work on low dose of morphine, I was still in a lot of pain.
I had taken a week off work ,but still was in so much pain .I had talked with a woman who was a GP who was in the same swimming group as my grandson, she asked the question , as I was still having pain "are you still on your HRT" ? I said "yes," she said " get off it "as soon as I did pain went!
When I mentioned this to the doctor in my post opp he said he couldn't understand that! "i dont understant that"
All I want to do is highlight the lack of patient care I received .
After someone has been in hospital for 5 days when its usually one day you would expect a phone call to see how you are !
I received a text message " if you feeling discomfort contact the surgery.
I did contact the girls on the desk and I did say I was very upset with the treatment I had
received , they were very nice and did say they would let the doctor know .
I've not been contacted by the doctor at all.
But I've been contacted by the reception staff for 6 month visit post opp.
And he also contacted my GP after I mentioned to his staff I had contacted my GP.
So the duty of care seems to be the concern, in talking with a fellow medical person for his reputation sake.
But duty of care for the patient non existent.
Im still struggling with my hormones at 61yrs old still having a period after this treatment .
And previously have not suffered bleeding in over 10 yrs
I was going to have a hysterectomy but decided to just to treat the fibroids.

Very good. Even though my sickness wasn’t the worst in the waiting room, I was still treated very quickly

Helped diagnose me with a rare condition. Was professional and sensible in deciding whether to proceed with an somewhat invasive test for a diagnosis. However deciding to go ahead has helped me access potential other specialists who can help me.
