I have visited this practice a few times and always had a positive experience. I had my blood taken today by Helen who was fantastic. It was fast and painless.

I made a booking for a general appointment to get a blood test and check my vitals. Got there at the time I booked but had a long wait despite the clinic appearing very quite. The doctor then informed me that they only did blood tests every second day and that she didn't have time to do the other checks. I ended up only getting my blood pressure measured and was asked to come back another day for the other checks. The staff were polite and it's fair that they don't have the pathology service everyday but this should have been clearer on their website to avoid wasting people's time.

Anyone scared of needles needs to come here, the lady who takes blood (I think it was Julie or Karen or something) is the best around, I have been twice and never even felt the needle go in, not even a pinch. If you have kids and they need a needle for something, this is the place to take them.

Went there 2 times as is very close my home but made me feel uncomfortable and like better I just at home, required for blood test as have plans to have baby as I have problems health but doctor said will check in case I have baby already!!!! Terrible dr I have has in my life

I was a huge fan of RMC. However the last two visits I have left feeling extremely dissatisfied. Most recently I went for a follow up regarding my recent hospital admission where the doctor at the hospital was AMAZING and so thorough. All RMC cared about was if I had covid and kept fobbing me off. Barely any follow up and no blood test (as requested by the hospital). I had a slight cough which I’ve had for months and is asthma related, as known for years. I also broke down and spoke to the dr about my severe anxiety regarding my ex, which resulted in hospitalisation and was also fobbed off being told I should try and start a mental health plan with my new dr when I move in 2 weeks and it wasn’t his issue basically. I tried to action a mental health plan with the current doctor and he kept avoiding it. I was devastated and if I wasn’t so firey and headstrong it could end a different way. I’m disgusted a patient could be treated that way. I haven’t walked out of a surgery in tears before and I was hysterical by the time I got in the car with my partner because it took A LOT of courage to talk about it and he dismissed me…even though I was sobbing and literally holding my shoulders/body because I was so anxious.
Luckily I move in two weeks because I wouldn’t return.

However Penny and Wendy at reception are lovely and amazing ladies. The only reason I’ve given 2 stars is because of them. Without them it’d be -1. It’s a shame that doctor taints the name of the practice.

Dr Bill Truong here is amazing. Both my husband and me are seeing him in the last two years or so and can't say a single bad word about Bill. I myself is a researcher so I always do research before I see my doctor and ask a lot of questions. Bill always has the answer for me or he would point me to the right direction. Bill is also a very thorough Dr that explain things quick and well. We moved houses and were seeing new GP for a couple of months and came back to Bill again. It is a bit of drive to see him but worth the effort for his knowledge.
