Very disappointed in the way my husband was dismissed from this medical centre today. After spending a few days over Christmas in absolute agony, he approached the centre today as everything else was closed. He had an infected tooth and asked to see a dr for antibiotics after explaining he couldn't see his regular dr or dentist. He did not ask for pain relief medication, only antibiotics. His face was swollen and he was clearly in need of treatment. No one in the waiting room but as their policy is to treat existing patients only, he was turned away to try cessnock. Not only was he in no fit state to drive to cessnock, there was no guarantee they would see him either. I'm disgusted to be honest. Its Christmas, they were the only doctor surgery open and had availability. Policy or not, where is the humanity to help those in need? Wouldn't go there if you paid me now. Disgraceful. Even the pharmacy was more helpful than these useless people. Go elsewhere.

We have followed Dr Bisterbosch to Rutherford Medical Centre. The first thing I noticed about the waiting room is that it’s so light and airy and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful.

At a time when no one was taking new patients, I was fortunate enough to fluke an appointment with Dr Ahuga after searching for over 12 months for a GP.
He was thorough and extremely helpful. The reception staff are all wonderful too.
I have now left the area and have had to find a new GP , otherwise I would definitely still be seeing him.

I have been coming to this surgery for around 2yrs, prior to this I couldn't find a surgery who I connected with and who didn't judge. I see Dr Tran and she is so lovely and is always so understanding and listens to my concerns, the surgery is so accommodating which is so nice after all the issues I've had previously. I also have stage 4b cervical cancer so see the doctor every fortnight along with my oncologist every 3 weeks. I also just wanted to point out how nice the ladies at the desk are, every single one of them is so lovely abd make me feel so welcome and so cared for. highly reccomend

Thanks to Dr Ahuja for helping me through my recent total and permanent disability payout which will allow me to live without working for the rest of my life.

I’ve been using this surgery for over 20 years and have to say the reception staff, the nursing staff as well as the doctors currently at this practice are very professional and friendly. I’ve since moved out of Rutherford but I still travel to this practice when needing medical attention and advice.

Friendly helpful girls at front counter, bulk bill practice, but the dr made my problem worse. When I went back and complained she gave me another script - for the same thing! Went to a different clinic, got a different script, problem fixed in 2 days.
