As a first-time patient at Royal Newcastle Centre, I couldn't be happier with my experience. The doctors and nurses at the Interventional Suite were incredibly attentive and caring. Their compassion, warmness, and constant check-ins ensured I was completely comfortable throughout my visit. I also appreciated the delicious food with good selections provided after my procedure. My stay in hospital was so pleasant, the nurses and doctors in the ultrasound and kidney biopsy section were absolutely fantastic. I can't praise them enough for all their help and understanding. They showed so much compassion, they were very friendly and helpful and worked tirelessly to make sure I was completely comfortable. To the entire team, I say the BIGGEST thanks, I sincerely appreciate everything you wonderful people did for me.

I really wanted to say a huge thank you to Jeremy
( Junior Orthopaedic Registrar ) who was working along side Dr Dewar on Thursday afternoon 7th October 2021 he was such a wonderful young man to deal with very understanding and patient and highly professional and friendly towards me and my mum who always comes with me to all my outpatient clinic appointment ,

He was also very soft and gentle with his examination of my hips and knee ,

He was polite and respectful as well and did everything he could and never once was he rude and pushy like most the other Registrar's can be but not all of them are like that , it will be sad to loose Jermey from the JHH this year but I'm sure they will love him at the next Hospital he goes to in 2022 ,
I do hope he comes back in future to do more rotations in Orthopaedic medicine and I'm sure with his friendly and attentive service and attitude he will go amazingly well and become one of the best surgeon's out there doesn't matter if he decides to be a paediatric or adult surgeon , He is definitely gonna go a long way and in a positive way ,

* Staff where very helpful as we didn't know where to go.
* Once getting to reception the staff where direct and helpful again.
* I got into my appointment 15min early and the doctors talked to me and not at me (this is something I ? to see in doctors).
* Administration on the level I was on opened at 930am, but again I got in 10min early, and was processed quickly by a friendly staff member.

Hello Hospital Executive Management, It’s actually Aimee Stromeier here , i’m A regular patient of the North Block Medical Clinics and South Block Surgical Clinics I do have Unfortunately got mixed feelings about these areas I mostly have good experience with south block staff but unfortunately there is one female staff member i’m Not sure what her problem is but she has the worst attitude I have had to put a complaint in to the operations manager for John Hunter Hospital outpatient Services and she got it sorted out then the issue was fixed ( October 2017 ) and everything was ok ? for a while then this morning ( 31-10-2018 ) I had to go up the hospital for the newsagents and to book my hearing impaired younger sister Samantha into the Ear, Nose Throat ( ENT ) Surgeon ?‍⚕️ to have her ears suction cleaned I walked up to the desk and politely asked to book my sister in to the clinic earlier this side of Christmas ? and this same woman just laughed at me sarcastically and said don’t think so abruptly and very rudely she took the name and looked up the computer ? and said to emergency what the hell you do not go to ED for a simple and general ear suction clean that’s just stupid for one you will wait for hours and and next that is not a medical emergency ? then she said to your GP I told her we have changed GP’s now and I don’t think they do this so she decided to go and ask the. nurse ?‍⚕️ about booking Samantha in She came back 5 minutes later and sarcastically laughed at me saying I told you you couldn’t get a appointment instead of saying i’m So very sorry but the doctor is fully booked until your next appointment in February 2019 she told me to book a appointment with our Gp as she has previously had hers done, I will not be putting up with her behaviour she either raghnes in her attitude or get moved into a job where she doesn’t deal with patients in person or via phone, She is to highly unprofessional and needs a good talking to you do not treat people like this if you are going to work in a hospital environment it’s unexptable she either gets a sturn talking to or be fired stop backing them up with excuses as to why they might be like that, I like to to be polite and treat people how I would like to be treated in a professional and understanding way , As for a number of other staff who work with this woman with the horrible attitude the rest of them are lovely and helpful and actually care about patients not just themselves Great work to them and Thankyou for being so nice over the past 8 years , Not Completely Recommended . Sooo busy in here for the "outpatient" services.
Waiting nearly 2 hrs past the time of my scheduled appointment.

The staff are very friendly and professional at least.
