I've experienced nothing but professionalism from the staff at RBWH Physio dept [day patient] during the last couple of months & my first visit to the hospital in Dec/24. Considering my appointments were under the public purse [Medicare] I certainly have no complaints with the treatment & consultations I received from the professional staff.
Great communication from the Physio dept either via texts or letters confirming appointments.
Visited the hospital using public transport and easy route to follow.
Great coffee & snacks being served on entering the hospital foyer area at reasonable prices.
More appointments scheduled for Feb/25.

Royal Brisbane woman's hospital is somewhere all women should feel safe. not every woman apparently. My poor sister, I watched her be judge from the start as if she was over reacting. From missing her vains, pinching her for passing out and most of all, being asked to be more considerate of other patients because she was throwing up too LOUDLY. Disgusting behaviour from Women who were older then my sister but clearly considered themselves better then her.

I had Day Surgery yesterday on Level 5 Women’s.
All of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff were exceptional.
Lovely Lucy the anaesthetist was so caring and reassuring when my nerves got the better of me.
The gorgeous ladies in recovery Michelle and Nikki were just beautiful. Couldn’t do enough for me.
Such a great overall experience for someone who has not had surgery since a child and now 53.
The only thing that needs improvement is the waiting area. Chairs are very uncomfortable and no TV. Luckily I had downloaded some Netflix. An older lady waiting was extremely uncomfortable and had nothing to keep her occupied. Waiting several hours it would be better to be comfortable before surgery of any kind.
Thank you 🤗

Very impressed with the Nursing Care and attention to detail on every level of ALL staff from Senior Specialists through to catering and cleaning!! Everyone employed here displays pride and professionalism within their individual roles, thus ensuring the highest standards of competence, performance and above all safety with in the various clinical settings that I have encountered. There is a reassuring sense of cohesive teamwork which promotes wellbeing and trust due to the seamless integration between departments. Having seen and experienced more health-settings than I would wish to- both professionally and in the patient role, the RBWH has exceeded all expectations.
My Journey: ED, Surgical Team, Specialist Team, Ultrasound, Transport Lounge while awaiting a bed, Ward 6AN.
The highest standards of cleanliness practiced by Nurses and Cleaning Staff is not only reassuring but also promotes safety and wellbeing by reducing infection risk.

As a cancer survivor of over 3 decades, I still need the expertise of my RBWH doctors frequently. My lifesaving surgery and ongoing procedures have all been performed as a Public patient, by extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and compassionate medical experts. From Specialists to Nursing Staff, Technicians and those working behind the scenes, I cannot fault the RBWH.

I want to sincerely thank the staff at the Eye Clinic, and in particular Dr M Thabek who was amazing! My regular Ophthalmologist’s office was closed during the new year period 2024 and I needed urgent attention due to an allergic reaction to some newly prescribed Glaucoma eye drops. He problem solved and within 24 hours my eyes were so much better and continued to improve rapidly. The impact this had on improving my mental state in addition, was immense. Thank you so much. 😀

I was admitted to the hospital with a brain tumor end November. I was so pleased with the care from the doctors, the nursing staff and the caterers. I am very very grateful that my 2 weeks in hospital was made a lot easier because of the care I received.
