I had a very disappointing experience at the Ropes Crossing Medical Centre due to the receptionist's poor customer service. I booked an appointment in person the day before, specifically requesting to see a doctor. However, upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that my appointment was mistakenly scheduled with a nurse, and I would have to wait.

This reflects a broader management issue, as the appointment was clearly misbooked. The receptionist seemed unaware of the importance of customer service and displayed a rude attitude. It's crucial for healthcare providers to prioritize patient care and respect, yet this experience felt dismissive and unprofessional.

No one should be treated rudely, especially in a healthcare setting where compassion and understanding are vital. I strongly believe that the management needs to improve staff training and reassess their customer service approach to ensure a better experience for patients. I am Indian too and seeing such attitude from Indian health workers is disappointing! Indians known for great hospitality and this raise a concern as the customer service is not seems appearing background!

My experience with this middle aged receptionist has never been good. Her unprofessional behaviour coupled with ignorance to phone etiquette is absolutely appalling. I wonder why despite numerous negative reviews for this receptionist, the management continues to tolerate this. Obviously, the management is choosing to ignore it’s clients/patients.

I had a frustrating experience with the old Indian receptionist over the phone, when I needed to cancel my appointment due to an unexpected work commitment, she was rude and unprofessional. Instead of understanding my situation, she made me feel guilty and emphasized how my cancellation impacted other patients. It was disheartening to be treated this way when I was simply trying to communicate a last-minute issue. I hope management addresses this behaviour, as it detracts from the overall experience.

This medical centre needs a good management. Receptionists are always rude. They do not have manners at all. They really need to learn how to provide good customer service. But I found Dr Jahan nice caring and professional. And pathology staffs they are very professional they know how to welcome listen and care patients.

Worst receptionist ever! Extremely rude attitude. I cancelled my appointment as I had seen another doctor and she was starting an argument with me over the phone. Incredibly unprofessional, we need customer service that's at an AUSTRALIAN standard. Unfortunately this medical practice has doctors and receptionists that are incredibly rude and treat sick patients as if it is INDIA!!! Do better.

Why does the quality of the medical center system appear to be declining each day? I contacted the centre yesterday to schedule an appointment, and they requested that I call back the following day as there were no available slots. Today when I called, they informed me that they were fully booked. With 15 patients in line and only 2 doctors on duty, does it seem fair? Despite the prevalence of pneumonia and viral illnesses, why are there no doctors available? Note that my family has been significantly unwell for nearly four to five days and this is one of the 4 medical centres I contacted, still unable to get the appointment.

I made an appointment as always, never late but yesterday it really offended me there was one patient before me which was in seeing the doctor, I was waiting for my test result which concerned me, then an Indian woman came in spoke to the elderly Indian receptionist then left, came back 5 minutes later receptionist said to her go in before me while I'm still waiting. This is the second time this has happened, I very much doubt she made an appointment Unfortunately I'm not Indian?

Mixed billing if you are over 16yrs of age and don't have a concession card meaning that you need to pay over $100 up front for each visit and only get $40 something back from Medicare!

What a joke!

I thought health care was supposed to be free in Australia!
