I had such a great experience at Riverlink Family Practice! From the moment I walked in, the reception ladies were incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional and honestly some of the nicest I’ve ever dealt with. Dr. Obot was amazing. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and helped me get to the bottom of several medical issues I had been struggling with for a while. Dr Kani was also very amazing. I’m so grateful for the care and attention I received. Highly recommend!

Dr Sonya was rude and dismissive. I came asking for a medical certificate to put my gym membership on hold due to my sciatica and SPD and she told me that she has no evidence that I have that (midwife diagnosed) and told me I should just cancel my membership. I told her I want to resume after birth so want to put on hold instead of paying cancellation fees and then fees to register again. She said she has no way of telling that I have that issue. I told her my symptoms which Includes debilitating pain which she dismissed and had no care for. I then asked her to give me a certificate that shows I'm before 26 weeks as jetstar require it and she told me she doesn't do her antenatal that way and that she won't do that for me (she has copies of my scans and can see that I'm only 23 weeks). I told her I will just call the other doctor then as he is usually happy to issue these certificates and that they should be simple to do. She told me I should bring my medical records with me and provide them to her in future. That is her job as a doctor to be able to access my medical history which she does have access to. She was also very rude in her tone and manner. On the other hand, reception staff are very friendly.

Reception is great that’s about it. Dr Sonia was so rude I’ve never dealt with a health care professional like that before I couldn’t believe it. I’ve had similar experiences with the male doctors as well rude and didn’t seem to be caring at all. Now I know why they always have appointments available. Very unprofessional that’s for sure

I've finally learnt my lesson to never return to this surgery. I usually have no need to see a doctor, but everytime I have gone to this particular facility I have left disappointed with no answers. I should've read all of the recent reviews about this surgery since their move from the shopping centre, as these doctors should not have a job in any medical field.
Today I saw a Dr Fred, he was absolutely clueless on my condition, refused a blood test, and told me I needed a recital exam but he doesn't do them. He then told me to go off and find another Dr that will do a recital examination as I urgently require one. My appointment ended up lasting only 2-3 minutes. I was absolutely polite from start to finish, so my assumption to the reason for being dismissed so quickly can only amount to him being a hopeless Dr.
If you value your health, do not even attempt to go to this surgery as your time is better spent elsewhere. Your wasting any effort you put forward to come here.
It won't be long until this surgery starts killing people with their neglect, mark my words.

I took my 4.5 month old to this practice as he developed a rash on his belly, the dr only took one look at his belly and then proceeded to tell me he had dry skin and to apply moisturiser which I had been doing. So as per the instructions, I applied more moisturiser only to find the rash spreading on his stomach, arms and legs within a week. I took my child to another dr to find out he has eczema and needs steroid cream.
I cannot believe for one the dr never suggested a cream to help as I had mentioned I was already applying moisturiser and just the lack of care as he didn’t do much, I was in and out within probably 2 minutes and didn’t feel like the dr took the situation too seriously.

lovely receptionist but doctor fredric kalu was very submissive and did not help with my problem at all. he was just trying to send me away and dismissed my problem even though it was quite obvious.

I've been coming to Riverlink family practice and seeing Dr Nina since they opened. Dr Nina always puts her patient's first and takes the time to listen. I always leave knowing I've been understood and validated. Can't recommend enough. All staff are just amazing
