This is a first class medical practice. All the interactions I have had with members of the practice team have been excellent.

I am so glad to have been directed to the practice more than 12 months ago.

Dr Lajoie is a compassionate, caring, and very personable man. I am most grateful to him for accepting the challenge of managing my complex conditions.

In October 2020 I injured my back but my Doctor was away on Holiday so after a night spent in Noarlunga Hospital I decided to get temporary treatment from Reynella Family Care who’s surgery was only 100 metres from my home, & what a good move this turned out to be. After my first consultation with Dr Al-Falah Dhanji I was impressed with his professional manner & since then I’ve grown to respect his attention to detail, his accurate diagnosis, & his referral to several Specialists who have sorted out my health issues including Bladder Cancer all of whom have great respect for Dr Dhanji & the way he cares for his patients.
The same can also be said of the whole team at RFC, from the friendly receptionists, to the Nurses who do your blood pressure, & periodically do home visits, along with a Chemist who calls on you to make sure you’re taking you’re medication correctly.
My wife who usually comes with me on my appointments at RFC, has been so impressed with the level of care shown by Dr Dhanji & the team at RFC is now also a patient of his.

Went in with a ear infection, was told by Dr Young and Nurse Practitioner Mark Endersby to buy a nasal spray and wait 2-3 weeks for results.

The result was the infection spreading to my neck causing a abscess which needed 2 hospital procedures at Flinders and a VAC machine that will be attached to my neck for the next month.

Firstly wanted to let you all know i followed a Doctor that left Strathalbyn and went to RFC to work and for me that is huge as i have been neglected by the healthcare system for 10 years already, lost all of my 20's because of them. This Doctor had been great, investigated immediately and treated me. I have been house/bed ridden for 9+ months now due to a chronic still undiagnosed illness. Unfortunately my why doctor will not contact me with RESULTS so i booked an appointment with anyone i could, and that was with the Nurse Practitioner. This is where the neglect comes in. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for my results so waiting another week was ok, i couldn't wait any longer as i have declined significantly, example feeding myself is now hard.

Straight to the point, the Nurse Practitioner called me for the phone consult. He was immediately rude asking "what's this appointment for"", we all know the reception
staff document on a note for the doctor, nurse ect so they are aware of what the appointment is regarding/concerning. I told him about my health and the decline, he shut me down immediately and said that's not my field. I asked ok can i please have my results now? He then went on to tell me he could not do that either. I didn't know that MY RESULTS from my BODY/BLOOD were not allowed to be given to me? Especially when i'm very ill. I then asked for the Script i was requesting (reception told me yes he will and can prescribe) But he declined, saying "i have to see you in person". By the way this was for Chronic Pain due to this Illness and my doctor has been prescribing it without any concerns and i had been waiting and had NO pain relief for over 5 weeks. Last thing the Nurse said was "just ring 000 if you need", hangs up on me!

Also at one point i did hear him say to himself along these lines "yes i can see alarming things" and i have a witness to that
Alarming things but won't tell ME?

I was extremely mad so i did call reception twice after to report this and even the reception didn't assist or help (they would have known how distressed i was by my tone, crying, pleading)

I was neglected and held from my personal information. We have our rights as patients and should never be shut down and withheld from our results/records. Please if you read this we as patients do have power because it's our health and life in their hands, if something like this happens to you REPORT immediately because unfortunately situations like this can turn out deadly for patients, witnessed first hand, multiple times and i won't allow them to make me lose anymore months, years of my life, just waiting and trusting them to just be failed again

As a Nurse myself i know MY RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES and the RIGHTS RESPONSIBILITIES of the DOCTORS/NURSES governed by AHPRA and their Respective National Boards.

RFC, this will not be tolerated you need to take action immediately because this is not how we should be treated as patients, human beings in general. A complaint is in progress regarding MARK ENDERSBY

Also note, RFC has not even reached out to ensure my safety and wellbeing! Not even my DOCTOR!
