Looks great! Sauna door kept opening and letting the heat out. Steam room is great! Cold plunge is cold so that’s good. Magnesium spa great and plenty of room.

Felt rush, staff didn’t give much direction and felt like a number to be in and out. Waiting area very tight not comfortable.

I have just floated out of my 60 minute relaxation massage with Ashleigh. Relaxation is not a strong enough word to capture this wonderful experience. It was truly more than I could have expected. I so appreciated the level of skill and attention that both relaxed and took away tension and the energy made me feel comfortable and safe to switch off.
The whole experience was just perfect, from walking in and being so warmly greeted, to meeting Ashleigh who completed a consult to understand any problem areas or concern, the ambiance of the room, products used and expert skill level.
Cannot recommend highly enough, thank you so much for such a wonderful visit.

Tucked away in the newly built Astina building, Reset by Astina is an affordable way to wind down and to relax if you are a local in the area.

My mum and I got the basic circuit package which consists of the steam room, cold plunge, dry sauna and hot tub.

Everything was fine but there were a few things I think this place could improve on:

- firstly strangely I found a camera in the area so if you are thinking of changing at the place you might accidentally get caught nude on camera so please wear your bathers before hand. That being said, I noticed the pair before us probably saw this too and went to the external bathroom to change which I found so odd. Would be nice to have a separate changing area (if there was noone said anything about it)

- theres no hair drying or vanity area so so not expect a place like natures energy or city cave.

- no shampoo either so please bring your own.

Aside from the above it was near perfect but its good for a local one if you are up for a short rest and reset.

booked a 1-hour hot stone massage. However, I was quite disappointed because as soon as I got on the bed, I realized it was rocking. It was very uncomfortable as it kept moving. I mentioned this to the massage therapist, but she only acknowledged it, and nothing was done. The music was also way too loud, making it hard to relax. While the room smelled nice, the scent was overwhelming, and I started sneezing as soon as I walked in. The massage therapist was nice, though, but overall, the experience wasn’t worth the money.

Had to call to check that I was in the right place because the Wellness Studio is in the hotel.
There is parking outside as the parking in the hotel is only for guests staying there.

Went into the hotel and Wellness Studio is on level 8.

Came out of the elevator and was greeted by the staff member Gemma.
Received a robe to change into and some slippers as the ground is wet.

First time here so Gemma explained what to do.

Had a shower and washed my body and hair.
Put in the ear plugs, turned of the light to the room and got into the tub.
At first I didn’t close the capsule but after a few mins I closed it to only have a little gap in it. The music played for about 10mins and then I turned off the lights.

Different experience- I couldn’t switch off completely. I thought I heard my alarm on my phone going off a few times. I could hear people in the spa. I had the capsule door fully closed and tried to drift off.

Drifting in the water was nice. When the music came back on it was time to go out. So I re showered which was lovely.

It was a very nice experience and I will do it again.

As I drove home it was like nothing was in my head like I had left it in the water.

When I found the place, the website directions are not of any use, it was great.

The staff were helpful and answered my questions.

Only other suggestion would be a safety bar on the wall of the cold plunge. I'm not comfortable sitting without something at shoulder length to help me get up again. I'm to tall to squat safely without a bar.

Yeah I'm old but not yet decrepit 😃
