I’ve been treated by Michael for various muscle pains over the last 10 years or so. He’s always been results driven and I’m so thankful and grateful to him for treating me. He’s honest and goal focused. Recently I had a tendon injury around the elbow which progressively got worse over 2-3 months. Before seeing Julie, I had - for years - been to numerous physios, chiros, surgeons for chronic back and knee pain stemming from severe scoliosis and past untreated injuries. A friend recommended Julie and right away I felt a weight being lifted as she listened to me without judgement. Unlike other practitioners who insisted that my injured knee has nothing to do with my back pain, Julie could see that chronic pain over the years had led to something called centralised sensitisation whereby my nervous system is in constant fight or flight mode. She used accupunture, CST, and spinal energetics amongst others to help alleviate muscle pain as well as pointing out emotional pain that had been trapped in various areas of my body. Each session is different depending on the pain location and she keeps notes and constantly asls for feedback.

I've been seeing Julie 1-2 times a week for the past 2 months alongside another exercise physio and I feel like a different person - way less pain, I can do more in my day, feel happier and more engaging. She's a true healer and I cannot recommend her more ?

Julie has healing hands.
I was burnt out at work and at home. Eventually my body gave in and complained with multiple non-chronic issues presenting themselves at the same time. My body forced me to hit pause on life and reassess, as clearly I was not listening to my own needs in some way. I was not functioning very well, and I was far from my best self in front of loved ones closest to me. I reached out for help, trying new branches in allied health services and trying any recommendations that arrived by word of mouth.
Julie was recommend to me by a close friend who was receiving treatment for back pain.
Julie addressed my physical ailments with physiotherapy and acupuncture. I could tell I was feeling much better after 3 visits (one a week). I also felt better able to metabolise my stress during the week.
As a side benefit, my relationship problems and family interactions also improved. No doubt getting rid of aches and pains had helped, but I also felt more like myself.
I would describe my chosen service more akin to acupuncture based kinesiology or acupuncture based wholistic therapy. I am continuing to see Julie as I’d like to understand where the aches and pains come from and how it presents in addition to alleviating its symptoms.
I would recommend Julie to anyone carrying unwanted weight and burden in their body.
It is refreshing to find a therapy that works, and a therapy framework that has no judgement or labels.
