Reliance Medical West Gosford is my preferred medical practice i see Dr Michelle Coetzee she is professional, kind, friendly, thorough with medical investigations and explains everything clearly she looks after my elderly mum and myself. I followed her from a previous practice and have complete confidence Dr Michelle will always provide the best health advice and care.
On an occasion she was unavailable other doctors have been fine.
It's convenient to have pathology, x-ray and nurses available in the one centre.
The staff are always friendly and helpful during my visit and on the phone. Especially my recent contact on two occasions with Kylie, providing exceptional customer care with a smile.
It's always a stress-free experience, thank you!

I have always had a great experience at this practise. I moved up from Sydney with a newborn in May and have seen many of the drs at this practise. Dr Michelle Coetzee, Dr Aye Aung, Dr Sam Elmi, Dr Diana Said. All caring and knowledgeable.

In all my appointments the drs are never running more than 5-10mins late which was a very welcomed surprise for me!

The nurses (in particular Stephanie) are amazing and so caring when I had to get my sons vaccinations.

The receptionists are cheerful and happy. I have never struggled to get in contact with them or had to wait long on the phone.

The building is new and clean, feels open and not stuffy. There are cafes close by and the gosford to woy woy walk which I have done to get my son to sleep In his pram after his vaccination.

People often do not take the time to write good reviews and are often more inspired when they have a bad experience! I am thankful to have found this practise.

Most of their GP’s are great, but most of their administration team is absolutely disgraceful & they should be ashamed of themselves. The administration team is the only reason for this 1 star review & they should be held accountable for letting the rest of their team down.

The bitter women at that front reception desk are so rude to their customers & should not be working in a customer service role.

Documentation from the GP’s is never sent through by the administration team promptly. We are constantly chasing up urgent referrals for specialists that the GP has organised days or weeks prior.

They are extremely rude on the phone when they eventually answer calls & extremely unhelpful.

I’ve asked for an invoice to be emailed to me after multiple appointments to claim for my health insurance & they refuse to send one. Too hard basket apparently.

They also breach patient confidentiality by asking you to confirm your full name, DOB, address & phone number when you check in at the reception desk for each appointment, regardless of who else is standing around to hear this sensitive information. We should be able to check in via the AMS Connect app to notify the GP we have arrived.

Hopefully management sees this review & offers some more customer service training for their administration team & perhaps some performance management for the women who clearly shouldn’t be working in that role.

I like that this practice has early and late opening hours so I can fit appointments around my schedule. My family has seen a few doctors at the practice, all have been respectful and caring. I’ve recently started to see Dr Zalai who is very thorough and professional. I recommend Dr Zalai who takes the time to ask questions, listen to the response and understand the patient history. The reception and nurses are lovely and have let my children sit in the treatment room when we needed to wait somewhere more private.

I made an appointment in the morning for the afternoon, that eventually proved unnecessary. Called them an hour later to cancel the appointment, they could not find it in the system. In the afternoon, I received a message about my missed appointment. I called them back straightaway, I got disconnected as soon as I said what I was calling about. I called back, stayed on hold for a long time, chose the option to get a call-back but nothing happened. At the end of the day, the credit card required to make the booking was charged. It's almost as if it were a scam, making it impossible to cancel orders. Disgraceful.

Booked a phone appointment for 11am and needed this promptly with the understanding doctors do run late so gave grace for the first 15 minutes. It’s now way past my appointment time and still nothing. I’ve tried to call reception and no answer. So unprofessional.

I booked an appointment, rang prior to leaving work and checked to see if the dr was running on time ?(I spent 10mins waiting to speak to someone )
I was told he was running 7-10mins behind his schedule.
I told the receptionist I was running a little late myself , but would endeavour to be on time.
Unfortunately, I was stuck in traffic and arrived 17mins after my scheduled appointment commencement time .
When I arrived at the practice I asked to see the dr , then was rudely told by the female receptionist that my appointment had been cancelled and I had to pay $35 .
I could not believe what I was hearing, how many times had I waited for hours to see a dr ? (too many times to mention) and then for my appointment to be cancelled and then charged $35 for being a little late , unbelievable ……..
This practice should be ashamed of its customer service, and practices.
Funny the dr was running behind himself when I had called prior…
Avoid this business and take your money elsewhere .
They do not deserve your custom.
If there was an option for zero stars I would have given zero!

Like most men I don’t enjoy going to the doctors and avoid it unless it’s absolutely necessary. But I recently started seeing Dr Ali Jawad due to a sporting injury and he’s brilliant. He listens to my concerns, he’s diligent in his work and takes overall well-being like diet, fitness and lifestyle into consideration. I can’t recommend Dr Ali Jawad enough
