Shocking experience with Reflect health.

* Will not answer their Listed phone number
* will not reply to emails in a timely manner
* ask for a large Deposit upfront
* expensive services
*handball everything up to their “clinician”
*will not refund you in a reasonable timeframe
*will not assist you with enquire’s related to paperwork etc

This place is dangerous. It’s dangerous you are dealing with people that are mentally unwell which brings complexities around people seeking help and having energy to advocate for themselves and your first point of call for your business (reception) cannot even bother to answer a phone, return a message or check an email. It’s dangerous and you need to fix this. Stop cost cutting and hire a receptionist. I have called and called and nothing. I started thinking maybe you guys had closed but no you just don’t answer any communication. From the reviews it’s not a new problem or a staff illness. It’s cost cutting. Please fix it before someone harms themselves due to not being able to access the right help.

I have to agree with others reviews, it was difficult to get through to the administration staff, however, I do find they always call back, very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I think reflect health’s ADHD library is a great tool, and has a lot of information to help someone starting on their journey.

My issue however is with Dr Grocott.

My first impression of Dr Grocott, was that she came across brusque. She unfortunately missed my appointment, and diminished my concerns with a quick phone call after I had waited 1.5hrs.
Giving her the benefit of the doubt based on her knowledge and esteem, my second interaction was no better. I felt like I was watching a 2hr tedTalk rather than having her address my issues. I did not feel listened too, nor did I feel like my appointment was personalised to my situation or concerns.

Dr Grocott is so knowledgeable & I believe is a great advocate for people with ADHD, however that means nothing if you cannot listen to your patient, and help them address their concerns.
Considering the amount of money I was charged for my appointment, I walked away from my appointment defeated & without answers.
I am now left with confusion, more inserted questions, and having to seek the support of another Psychiatrist.

i need medical help, like being assessed and diagnosed and medicated since my SSRIs aren't working.

So i get put onto somebody who doesn't prescribe any medications, doesn't know much about ADHD, depressive or anxiety disorders and literally told me i should have go to a psychologist.

I waited months to be there, MONTHS. Ow but she was all to happy to take my money, literally cancelled my appointments after i told her how my conditions are beyond 'talk therapy' and i've had them for years, i just need assessment and MEDICATION.

On top of that, they constantly deadnamed me in the emails to me (trans). Like i genuinely need care, this place is a joke.

I wasted 4 weeks filling out paperwork, seeing my gp to fill out more paperwork. filled out the same questionnaires multiple times. got stuffed around to no end.
After all that, being told appointment in 4 months!
don't even start with the on boarding paperwork- Go somewhere else!

Unauthorised debit from my account. Would not return money debited. Stonewalled my complaints. Uncommunicative. Unapologetic.
Reported to ACCC on 4/12 for their conduct.

Reflect health have been fantastic for me. They did thorough testing, booked me time with a great mental health gp (Dr. Burrowes) and have now referred me to their in-house psychiatrist
