I had day surgery at Redlands Hospital this week and I couldn’t fault the experience. From the admissions nurse to the surgical team, every staff member was professional, kind, and attentive. I can experience anxiety in medical settings, but the team was incredibly accommodating and made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the whole process. Special thanks to the nurses and anaesthetist for their gentle approach and reassurance. I truly appreciated their support—it made a big difference. "I'm thrilled to share my wonderful experience at Redland Hospital, where I was admitted on February 11th at 33 weeks pregnant. The entire medical team was exceptional, providing caring and attentive support that made me feel safe and in good hands.

The hospital room was cozy and comfortable, with regular staff check-ins to ensure my baby's and my well-being. Frequent vital checks and monitoring gave me peace of mind, while daily rounds by the doctors and random visits from midwives made me feel part of a supportive community.

I'm grateful for the outstanding care I received, particularly given my vasa previa diagnosis. The team's expertise was reassuring, and they took my condition seriously.

When I delivered, the team treated me with kindness and compassion. My baby required 15 days of special care, and I was amazed by the dedication and love shown by the special care team. They treated my baby like their own, and I'm forever grateful.

Although I don't remember all the midwives' names, every single person who cared for me during my 20-day stay was amazing. I highly recommend Redland Doctors, Midwives, and Special Care Team for their exceptional care and compassion.

I'd also like to extend my gratitude to the kitchen and cleaning staff. Your attention to detail and kindness did not go unnoticed. The food was
always delivered on time, warm. My room and toilet were always kept fresh and clean. Your hard work and dedication made a significant difference in my stay.

Redlands public maternity ward, staff were incredible. Staff were very caring and helpful with any questions or concerns I had. Really appreciate all the hard work and knowledgeable staff that brought my babies into the world.

I had my second birth at the Redlands hospital and it was a great experience!! I had an extremely fast labour that I wouldn’t have been able to get through without the midwives (Ruby, Keely and Max).

I am very appreciative of the care and support I received on the ward after birth. Every midwife I came in contact with was willing to help me out with feeding which made me feel much more comfortable.

The only negative thing I can say is the antenatal appointments leading up to birth weren’t the best. I found there was always mix ups with my appointments and the doctors were quite dismissive.

I gave birth baby last week and lived there three days. I would like to thank Midwife Julia, Juan specifically as they are kind and responsible and showing love on human beings. Some midwives and doctor very rude ( made me crying during this special time) that showing the other side of the human nature. I would say please love your job if you still want to do your job. No body force you do your job. I hope people can share feedback on these good and bad side about the service so that it’s fare for these hardworking staffs.

I can't speak more highly of the staff at Redland's from the many experiences we've had here. One more star though once cycle parking for visitors is improved. Current cycle parking is OK, but unsigned and hidden near the maternity entrance, and the only way to get there is along a fenced pedestrian walkway or squeezing through a car park boom gate. I went round to the new multi-storey and they have some excellent secure staff cycle parking. But so secure visitors can't gain entry and no visitor cycle parking nearby 😮‍💨.

Recently gave birth to my first child at Redlands hospital and had a great experience. All of the midwives, nurses and doctors from the birth suites, the karragarra ward and the special care team treated myself, my partner and our newborn with great care and we are incredibly grateful to have been looked after so well during the last week.
