I did have a very good cleaning service via ESAR via RDNS now RDNS send out people who aren't cleaners. The comparison is a towel bath in hospital to a shower. It's been 2 months now, the latest was a Thursday call saying Fridays cleaner would arrive at 1230pm. At 1220pm I checked no car out front. 1230 no one. So checked my phone. (Due to problems with my line I cannot receive private numbers which RDNS know about.)had private number call at 1128am yes 1128am. Then private call 1153am. I called RDNS at 12.36, 114pm, 2.34pm got told URGENT ATTENTION WOULD HAPPEN. No other calls from PRIVATE NUMBERS have been received. They are supposed to email me. Reached out to my member of parliament(a first for me in 50years) they tried to help.
Why are they AFRAID to give out contact numbers anymore. Where is SERVICE GONE. How many more AGED people are going through this I have a VOICE many others don't. STILL NO EMAILS or PRIVATE NUMBER CALLS TOMORROW IS A WEEK. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. NO SERVICE RECEIVED

RDNS: Talk about milking the system.

If your granted a government health care package RDNS will charge approx $90 per hour, even if the person is only helping for 2 minutes.

RDNS will keep approx $60 of that money. Only paying the staff member less than $30. This means your loved one is only getting 30% of the money the government is providing for your loved ones care. Talk about exploiting.

Concerningly: if the nurse can visit 2 clients within an hour period, The nurse will still only get approx $28 for the hour but RDNS keep approx $180 per hour!

Public holidays RDNS just don't bother to turn up leaving your love one unable to shower so RDNS don't have to pay Public holiday rates to their staff.

The Social Workers are completely incompetent, and I not surprised given they're lead Social Worker who has a major unprofessional attitude. Completely incompetent and extremely unprofessional.

RDNS Social care worker would visit mums home , sit around for a hour promising to fix various problems but achieve nothing. We often found she would go back to the office sharing incorrect information about our mothers health. And of course you never hear from her again for another 12 months and the problem left unresolved.

In all the years of being with RDNS , not once did a social worker mention the freezing cold conditions or extreme heat conditions my mother was living in. I mean , seriously isn't that their objective? I know the government was paying RDNS to care.

Mum asked us to prepared a Will for our mother , only to be told by the Lead Social worker that my mothers Will is "unfair"

Why is the Lead Social Worker reading my mothers Will? Turns out my mother's Will was passed around the office for all to read.

When we questioned RDNS, the lead Social Worker became extremely rude, writing unprofessional emails. He started emailing and harassing us. We had to threaten him with legal action to stop his harassment and in return he punished our mother by stopping all social workers from visiting her . Made no difference, hopeless anyway.

Does that sound like a company that has your loved one best interest at heart ? Absolutely not.

We now moved my Mother to a company that not only pays their staff a fair wage but only charges $52 per hour , giving our mother far MORE care than RDNS for far less money.

Absolutely disgusting companies like RDNS are taking advantage of the system and lack serious care/empathy

I can't speak highly enough about the nurses and team coordinator at RDNS Silverchain. Thoroughly professional, very knowledgeable and i was always treated with respect and care. I couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel before being put into their care. They put the GPs that I had dealt with to shame. Their work is absolutely critical. Bless their cottons I say

Care factor zero, from nursing staff and co-ordinators. My client has had major surgery which left a large wound. The nurses come in, and do whatever they like. Different nurses every day. None read the wound plan and do what is written. Nobody follows up on stock levels. Being a quadriplegic means my client can exactly get up and check stock levels...
Was told that there would be regular nurses and continuous care... not happening!! Some people should not be nurses either, if they don't know the basics on nursing care!
