This is my safe place, the nurses are life saving supportful beautiful humans. The staff are all absolutely wonderful even down to the cleaners that come and help you the whole team, my psychiatrist was and has been the reason I have hope, they helped and guided me through every feeling and thought and nothing was to big or to small. I don’t know where I would be without this place with my whole heart I thank you.

This facility is fantastic. Kind, caring staff who are non-judgemental and understanding regarding mental health. Wonderful doctors and great collaborative care with psychiatry, psychology, mindfulness, fitness and social work. Modern, fresh and super clean rooms. A beautiful location. Plus lovely menu which changes daily. A big shout out to the nursing team who do a stellar job and make sure you are safe and cared for day and night. If you are struggling with addiction, anxiety or depression, a stay here will take life pressures away and help you heal.

Another DVA private hospital not doing the right thing. I asked for new doctor and was told I'd have to discharge and return. The psychs here don't care about patients or what they are going through. They don't take into account what Veterans have been through.

I was extremely nervous about having my procedure but the receptionist (I think her name was Liz from memory) was absolutely amazing! She made me feel at ease and relaxed and even made me laugh which completely settled my nerves. I feel she went above and beyond what most receptionists would do, she was professional, caring and empathetic and I would not hesitate in recommending this practise to anyone.

The Caloundra Private Clinic provided outstanding service. On my way to the clinic, I became worried and distressed about my upcoming appointment. However, upon my arrival, the administration staff managed to help me gain a positive mindset prior to my session. Extraordinary customer service from start to finish. Would recommend 10/10.

What a completely awful experience! I went as an inpatient for a 2 week stay and on day 2 of a 3 day detox there was a minor issue that caused me to have a full blown panick attack. My partner had to call the hospital to alert them of me having a panick attack, and was told that this was not true.

They never administered my medications at all in the time I was there or come round to check on me and they let me check out and leave the hospital for a 2 hour drive home in the middle of an anxiety attack that apparently wasnt happening.

Please if you care about your loved ones or are seeking professional help do not send them here! You will come out worse than you went in!

Absolutely appealing excuse for mental health professionals. Psychiatrist Dr Rebecca was lovely. Group facilitators bec and Julie were also beautiful people. Unfortunately it's the nursing staff that have all the power and this hospital seriously needs to reconsider their nursing staff. Margarette and Mel shouldn't be working in mental health let alone health care. They need a reminder that are not doctors. Stole a bunch of my stuff and hang up when I ask for it back. Leave a schizophrenic patient on the ground sobbing out the front of the nurses station for an hour because they are too busy chit chatting in the office. Refuse to call doctors to get correct medications. Discharge patients without the correct medication and refuse to call the doctor to get this amended. Lie about patients even when every other patient is there to witness it. Hang up on patients in a crisis. Leave patients shaking from panic and then comes and yells at them for panicking. DO NOT LEAVE YOURSELF AT THE MERCY OF THE NURSING STAFF IN THIS HOSPITAL. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEGUL TREATMEMT OF ADULT HUMAN BEINGS.

This mental health hospital is in a great location but there is a real need for patient care when it comes down to it. They’re so rigid in their rules that it takes away the rest and respite mental health patients need when coming into the facility. So far in four weeks I’ve had one nurse ask if I was doing ok and three nurses barge into my room wanting to know why I was not a group lessons. The reason was I was feeling awful coming off meds. There is no empathy with the nurses but that seems to be drilled into them by their bosses. I came here to come off my meds in a safe environment and to rest and get better but all I’ve found so far is more stress from the staff. I was still planning on being here three more weeks to come off my meds in a safe environment but have just been told by my psychiatrist that I have to go home next week to come off them because it will save home trying to explain to his bosses that I’m withdrawing from meds and won’t be at class. There is no patient care here it all seems to be about making money with no nurses checking in to see how you’re doing. The facility is great but the staff environment and rules are worse than the public system. If you have issues and need good patient care find somewhere else as they don’t have that here.
