The old lady pathologist is very not helpful and rude. They don't have machine to scan my referral, she told me to call a doctor to send the actual referral letter by email. When she told me about it, she said " I told you, the doctor need to send me the actual referral letter by email. I told you already" how she said to me was very in a rude way.
After I got the first test, she called me a few days later. She said I need to do the test again, and I should come between 7 to 8am on the next day, because it will be less busy. So I went there at 7:05am next morning. The pathology is not even open. I had to go to other QML pathology that was opened. Extremely unprofessional and incorrect information that they give to patient.

My girlfriend who has severe fear of needles came in and was panicking but the ladies were very kind and didn’t make her feel rushed at all as well as helped to coach her through it which obviously isn’t expected of someone but it was very very much appreciated. Once the needle was in it was a quick smooth procedure and we’re very thankful for the staff’s patience and support.

The one star is for the rude woman with pink in her hair at front desk. I was told to come in before before 11 around 10.30 so I did, when I got there she was immediately trying to turn me away saying I had to make my appointment for my 12 week scan before having my blood test. I told her I had already done that and she gives me a dirty look and doesn’t say anything then sighs and says “take a number and sit, I do close in 15 minutes you know”. I told her I came when I was told to the previous day and she was still frustrated, people were still coming in and taking a seat to be seen while she was out the back she returned even more frustrated and announced to the room “if it’s not urgent please leave and come another day and went and locked the doors so no one else could enter then had a sarcastic comment when no one got up and left as she wanted. She should have locked the door earlier if she was going to be rude to everyone coming in before closing. Thank god she didn’t do my blood test, another lovely lady came out and made my experience there much more enjoyable then the rude lady I first spoke to. Very rude.

My mother is a regular customer and she always gets the same lady! Besides the days when she's not in. I'm giving 5 stars because she's polite and friendly, fast and efficient. It is not easy for someone to take blood especially having moving veins. But she does an amazing job!!!. Legit it's like going in and 2mins later your done.. no waiting around no long queues👀😳😊
To the other staff they are friendly and fast in their own unique way too.

I usually have good experiences here, but today would have been the worst experience I have ever had, lined up outside for near 1 and a half hours, finally got inside and they had an exceptional bad reception member on who had no idea what she was doing. I'm all for training new people but please leave it for quite times. All the staff were stressed out, so the experience took near on 2 hours.

*If I could give less than one start I would*
Went in for a series of tests required. I was given a bunch of collection jars and wasn't told what is actually required for the samples. When I asked what I needed to do, I was given very poor instruction (so here's to guessing). They didn't have one of the collection jars required and just told me to "ring around". I then spent the next 2 hours ringing branches that never answered their phones and driving to them to find most didn't have what was required. When I finally did find one, the lady there was amazing in comparison to the staff at Burpengary and sat down and explained things to me (yes I'll be leaving an amazing review for that branch). The staff here require further training on how to treat patients, how to smile, and actually take time to explain whats required for samples requested.

Never had a bad experience here until the beginning of june 22. I couldn't believe that the person who was working there could be so rude. I am already looking around for some where else to go and I have been coming to this one since 2015. I have tests done every 3 months and still in shock how I was treated😔.
