Wait times are horrendous. Even if you have an appointment, you could be waiting an hour plus.

Despite there being 2 rooms, pathology only ever has one nurse on duty even though the line is always super long here. Not to mention that it is always FREEZING in the waiting area.

The only positive is that the pathology seems to be always open including weekends and public holidays.

EDIT: They lost my urgent blood test so I had to redo it, missing an important IVF deadline!

Went here on a Saturday morning. Wait time was short. I was then greeted by the lovely Ramon. Seriously if you have a fear of needle he would put your mind at rest. Lovely guy and got the blood first go. Most people struggle getting my blood, but Ramon got it first go. I would highly recommend coming for here for any tests.

I got to experience the care of both ladies working on Monday and I couldn’t be more thankful for them. They were extremely gentle, kind and patient with explaining certain aspects of the test I was needing. They truly made the experience a lot more comfortable and took away a lot of confusion. Would highly recommend them!

Took my 7 year child for the blood test for the 1st time he panicked and started to scream the lady who was doing the bloods seemed like had no experience on children my son was very scared she tried taking blood on this right hand she was not successful she blamed my child for moving away and then she started to try on the other hand my son started scream as he was scared what had happened the first time after her multiple tries she told me and my child to get out of there. While I was getting out I thanked her and sorry on behalf of my son she immediately replied..Go AND SAY SORRY To PEOPLE WHO WERE OUTSIDE GETTING DISTURBED in addition to that she compared my child with her own child by saying that she also has a seven year old and he doesn’t behave like that …,this is the most unprofessional thing that I have ever seen/heard . Every child is different and should never be compared ….never will be returning to this QML no duty of care whatsoever

The nurse you have here is very very rude worse still the sample results has still not been received by the doctor. Blood and other tests require trusted professionals. You need to take a good hard look at the woman on here.

Utter waste of time, went to here with a GP referral for a swab that mentioned COVID testing (as most do nowadays) though I was completely covid free. After waiting over an hour, we were finally told they wouldn’t do the test simply because COVID was listed on the testings. The so-called nurse rudely walked us out of the building while acting as though we had the plague and she was about to implode. There was no apology, no explanation, just a curt instruction to go to Goodna. Completely unprofessional and a waste of time. Avoid this place if you want to actually be helped.
