Opens at 0600, but only one staff member on until 0800, during the busiest time of the day! The waiting room is full of people trying to get to work, elderly people who have had to fast for their blood test, people getting monitors attached and sharing the space with people who are clearly sick (cough, sniff, sneeze). Over an hour wait for a 3 minute blood test. Not good enough QML!

It all depends on who is working on the day and have never usually had a problem except for the long wait times because there is only one person who. Yesterday was a different story, I had the most painful blood test I have ever had. Never have I had anyone pressing so hard on the syringe that it felt like the tip of the needle was digging in the whole time and at one point I was worried that the needle would break off. I then got snapped at and told that she nearly lost the whole specimen because I apparently moved when the vial was nearly full. Everyone in the waiting area must have heard her because they were all looking at me when I walked out.

Shocking wait time, only one worker who couldn’t have been more disinterested and rude. Several people gave up in the time I waited. When another worker appeared she only came to get tape and have chat for about 5 mins saying we all wait over an hour for a GP so we should suck it up.

Longest wait time. One very loud person disclosing personal information to everyone in the waiting room. She can only do 1 person per half hour.

Don’t bother! Just drive across the road to S&N pathology. I been back 3 times now and tried give it the benefit of the doubt but no, bad experience every time, extended long crazy wait times for only a 2 or 3 people in the waiting room waiting over 1hr. No privacy when giving personal information the whole clinic can hear you. Just don’t waist your time.

Hi Black Ivy Tattoo,

I had a blood test today with Alina too. Horrible experience. Had one other blood test in my life, and it went perfectly fine. She did the exact same things you described, in regards to not stopping when you told her to. Just curious, did you ever hear back from a manager.

I just drove my 18 year old daughter to this qml to have a simple blood test at 2:00pm Friday 26/07. I stayed in my car as I have a mobility issue. When I saw it was taking so long and only one other person had come out I was worried. When I went in I found that my daughter had been jabbed 4 times!!! The amount of bllood collected was minimal and was told by the collector (Alina)it probably wouldn’t be enough and my daughter would need to come back. Making things worse at each jab site where the needle had gone in the collector was moving the needle around to look for a vein! She had no idea how to locate a vein!! My daughter has had blood collected there before with no problems with a different collector. The collector should have after stopped after 2 goes max! It is poor that they only have one collector there, if there was a second one there they could’ve been called to assist and have more success. Cost cutting at its worst!!!

Waited far too long for a walk in QML branch, only one staff member on and taking blood etc. She did everything very slowly and seemed like she had no idea about paper work, scanning and typing the information into the system, with people’s refs all over the desk and not filed correctly. Makes me nervous my results will be lost or not sent to my doctor correctly. She spoke very loudly around other patients and what they were in for which is embarrassing to know people can hear her talking from the other room about what they are checking up on. It’s not very private at all. Another patient walked in and said hello to this women working and rudely just said “take a number and sit”. I found it to be very rude and aggressive.
