I started seeing Alexane 3.5 years ago, a few months after having spinal surgery. I will be forever grateful for all the help she has given me. Not only is Alex extremely educated on scoliosis and spinal treatment, it was also comforting to be treated by someone who had also experienced scoliosis themselves. Alex has not only provided me with continuous physiotherapy, but has also created numerous programs over the years for at-home exercise and muscle strengthening. Overall, I highly recommend the clinic for anyone with scoliosis.

I have been seeing Alexane over the last 2 years for on going physiotherapy care as well as massage therapy for my scoliosis and I couldn't be happier with the results. As a young male I was concerned when I found I had scoliosis as I love physical activity, and upon initial consultations with my GP and another physiotherapist, I was worried I would need to limit my activity and slow down on the sports I love. Since seeking care from Alexane and learning from her wealth of knowledge, not only on scoliosis but how the whole body works together, have I been able to continue sport - pain free and with total piece of mind. From my experience with Alexane, I have found that she invests a large amount of time into learning your specific scoliosis situation. From this she's able to offer a tailored experience, and I believe it doesnt matter what situation you are in, as she has built such a deep understanding from not just a high level degree and increasing years as a practising physiotherapist, but her own actual experiences with having scoliosis from a young age and going through the surgery! Every appointment Alexane is able to expose me to new exercises and methods for spinal and hip alignment corrections that build on the last. There is no one's judgement I trust better than Alexanes and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone that is seeking care. She offers physical, mental, and emotional support as she truly understands what it's like having scoliosis and will always puts your comfort above all.

I regret not coming across QLD scoliosis clinic sooner. After seeing an extensive amount of doctors, surgeons, physios and massage therapists over the years, I can honestly say Alex at QLD scoliosis clinic has singlehandedly changed the trajectory of my diagnosis and its management for the better. Alex and the team are incredibly empathetic, strategic and intentional with their evidence based clinical approach to scoliosis treatment. I like many others, have tried everything and it wasnt until I met Alex that I felt like I could regain a sense of control over the way my scoliosis was impacting my life. The weekly scoliosis friendly Schroth based pilates classes are truly a highlight of my week. I am forever grateful to Alex and the team- I have learnt more about scoliosis treatment and managing my condition from them than any other technician or specialist in the field. Alexane and the whole Curv team have helped me so much throughout my scoliosis journey, pre and post operation - physically, mentally and emotionally.
