Very fast and efficient on a Monday afternoon. I did not have an appointment as I had an X-ray and was able to book an ultrasound for the following week. So quick and easy. If walking from the train station, walk along the Hawkesbury Rd, not Ashley Lane to get to the front door. Wheelchair access is from Hawkesbury Rd. It's right near the new Westmead Light Rail Station.

Disappointed with my experience.
I arrived 15 minutes before closing time to get a dental X-ray, but I was told the machines had already been turned off and they wouldn’t proceed with the service. If the clinic stops accepting patients before the posted closing time, that should be clearly communicated. It was frustrating and felt unprofessional to be turned away after making the effort to come on time.
Also, having an accent doesn't mean I'm ignorant or unaware of how things work. I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other patient.

My mother had a biopsy done at prp
At Westmead today and I just want to say a big thank you to Dr jones and Nora . My mother was very anxious before we arrived but said she didn’t feel a thing during the process as Dr jones was brilliant, kind and caring . Nora was lovely and very helpful and explained everything to mum clearly and was very attentive. The reception staff were also very welcoming . . Even the gentleman that worked at the car park in Ashley lane was so nice. What is a very stressful time for our family was made easier thanks to prp staff . Thank you so much

I have attended PRP a number of times since Jan23 for scans & have found the staff courteous considerate efficient & informative on all occasions, both Reception & Medical Technicians. Disability toilet available.
Easy to find on Ground Floor street access at front to Trams & in sight of Busses & Westmead Hospital, & rear access from Basement to Car Park & Taxi or Community Wheels at Ashley Lane.
Tram Buses & Train Station within short walk which will take you to Parramatta Station or Westfield. Food areas nearby.

Based on my experience with the center, I would like to emphasize that there is a clear distinction between privacy laws and the center’s policies, and what is happening at these centers could be in violation of the law and should be addressed.

Under the laws in many countries, patients have the right to access their health information in the timeliest manner possible. Medical centers, including imaging centers, are required to allow patients access to their reports promptly. In this case, the policy of withholding reports for 8 days, despite the report being completed and sent to the GP on the same day, is a violation of the patient’s right to access their health information in a timely manner.

The actions of this center seem to contradict the legal principles of transparency and the right to access information, and they may also breach patients’ rights to have timely access to accurate medical data.

These policies are not only unprofessional and inappropriate, but they could also be illegal under certain legal systems that guarantee a patient’s right to access their health data. Therefore, relevant authorities should review such policies and ensure full compliance with applicable laws in this field, while also putting an end to policies that harm patient rights and undermine trust in healthcare centers.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend this center to anyone and will not be returning in the future unless these policies are revised to comply with the laws that protect patients’ rights to immediate and secure access to their health information.

GPS showed different location and traffic was worst. With all the stress to find the parking we were assisted by lovely helpful reception to find the place. We are really glad that we were guided step by step to find the location.

Ultrasound was smooth, Polite and great customer service.

Such a great experience, walked in to book an appointment and they took me straight away almost zero waiting time for a CT scan. Highly highly recommended.
