I took my granddaughter to see Dr Choi, even though they weren’t her regular practise, she was great. Dr Choi Explained the problem with expertise. Even my 10 yo granddaughter understood her even though her accent was strong. My son rang their regular dr but couldn’t get in that day, the response was, it is what it is, he said it wasn’t good enough so then he contacted Providence and got in that morning. Will be using them again.

I have seen all 4 GP's over the last 4 years a few times each
Dr Thera is wonderful and always a delight to speak to
Dr choi and Mohan are very good and effective
DR futter on the other hand is unfit for his role.

I can understand forcing people to wear masks to a point, but the fact Dr Futter didnt wear one while I was made too felt unfair.

I have heard bad things and I thought I would try him and maybe people were just mean. I went in there with a simple enquiry, briefly explained my symptoms. then I got a 15 minute lecture on the food we import is full of hepititus, he was swearing his head off stumbling over his words and stuttering like a crazed old man and indirectly accusing me of his preconcieved assumptions of me. "some people dont beleive in covid shots I have had 13 and I am fine", I didnt even mention this topics of imports, covid shots etc, I feel like I was just there for him to vent. He was called by the receptionist to tell him to hurry up, at this point we havent even talked about my symptons or anything. He was still going on about his political opinions.

I felt extremely uncomfortable, I almost walked out on him.

this doctor also told my mum she would be dead within 5 years due to a heart condition (turns out shes fine of course after she saw a cardiologist). making her bawl her eyes out for 3 days straight, she bought life insurance and everything preparing for the worst. but Dr Futter didnt even book a cardiology appointment, he just essentially told her "5 years, bye". my mum had to book a follow up appointment with Dr Thera where she correctly reffered her to a cardiologist.... my mum was advised by one of the staff ( i wont specify as he owns the clinic to my knowledge and this person shouldnt get in trouble at all) that she was the 3rd woman in that week he told was going to drop dead in 5 years or less.... seems like he enjoys the authority and messing with people.

the 2nd star would be 4 starts if it wasnt for this clown. as the other practioners are great!

I recently had an appointment with Dr Futter as he was the only one available, and I needed antibiotics for a minor surgery to remove a small skin cancer.
As I walked I to his room, he already had the computer on and was looking at my vaccine history.
His first word were you haven't had a covid shot.
I just said, yes I have a reason for that but I'm only here for some antibiotics
He then proceeded to lecture me on why i should have the shot for about 5 minutes and I couldn't get a word in.
At one stage he called me an anti vaxxer to which I interjected stating I am not one and that I chose not to have the jab due to a heart attack I suffered in 2020 and had decided not to take the risk after reading about the possibility of myocardial issues.
Finally he looked at my wound only because I managed to shut down his tirade but after the 5 minutes it took to write an antibiotic script, he started his vaccine lecture again.
I promptly left and then he had the audacity to charge me for a long consultation.
I had already paid at the counter and he walked back into the waiting room where I asked him why the additional charge to which he responded in a grumbling voice you were in ther longer than 15 minutes as he slipped off back into his room.
I must point out the staff at reception were nothing but lovely and I could see the situation was uncomfortable for them
Bottom line, this Dr is an arrogant incompetent bully and I will never again return to that surgery.

My doctor is Dawn Choi at Providence Medical Centre. She is an AMAZING doctor, has many specialties. She is professional, compassionate, attention to detail, efficient and kind. At times I’ve had a few issues with the practice reception in the past but lately there has been no problems. I cannot speak for the other doctors here. The pathology here is also very good. The latest receptionists have been very lovely. Strict on gap payments and cancellations, but do try to help those on disability or pensioners. These days all surgeries do it so it’s up to the doctors discretion in some cases but most charge a gap now unless you are on a short plan. Definitely always communicate your situation to your doctor or staff. Some just won’t understand your situation if you are not open. Dr Choi is the best. My sister, mum, Niece and I all see her now.

Carol Crawford-Ross, I have been a patient of Dr Michael Futter for a number of years, I have always found him very professional, thoughtful with always my best interest at heart. He has been able to treat me respectfully & with diligence regarding personal & medical issues I have & I am very satisfied with being his patient. I have always found the Reception Staff & Nurses very caring & polite, I have no hesitation in recommending the Practice to anyone.

Dr Michael Futter and his staff are excellent.
My family and I have found that Dr Futter always listens to our concerns, and he is always very thorough and professional in his approach. He has excellent medical knowledge and patiently explains any issues. We highly recommend Dr Michael Futter as a caring GP.

I only just missed a phone call whilst on the toilet. Surgery open until 6pm, but can't reach them!! Absolute NEED script, but when recalled nobody answers at 5.20.....
And I bet I get charged a cancellation fee!!!!
Love the doctors but surgery itself becoming VERY DISAPPOINTED

I had been attending this practice around 3 years never missed an appointment , my dad had a terrible fall I was with him at the hospital all night and accidentally missed the appointment , the dr said it was fine as id never missed an appointment before but the practice has hounded me for 50 dollars absolutely disgusted with them and left the practice now seeing a very compassionate dr and medical team
