My experience here for ankle sprain treatment was not a positive one. After having it strapped and some basic advice for dealing with the acute phase, I returned a few weeks later after a reccurrence. I explained the symptoms and was told to have a scan done. I felt like I wasn't being listened to. After another two weeks of hobbling around, I returned to be told the scans confirmed what I had explained two weeks ago and that they couldn't help me.

After seeing another podiatrist, I was told I just needed the next stage of exercises (balancing and strengthening). It started to improve almost immediately.

Apparently this podiatrist only specialises in basic issues like skin conditions and ingrown toenails. I wish they would state this on their website so anyone who has an interest in long term foot health will save their time, money, and health. It seemed particularly mean that they would string me along for an extra two weeks while I was in pain. Hopefully this review will help others to avoid this.

I am not sure if the other reviews on here are genuine, or if my experience was out of the ordinary.

The most wonderful care you can receive, from the moment you step into the reception area to being treated in a beautiful room. The cleanliness is a big tick as I'm a clean freak so you can't go wrong with them if they care so much. Thank you, so much love for this team!

Can not recommend this place enough. Very caring & helpful staff who was able to comfort my distressed 13 year old prior to a minor procedure. They were able to administer a local anaesthetic & remove a lose & no longer needed toenail. The podiatrist went above & beyond to make my son feel comfortable & relaxed. Very clean & sterile environment, very pleased.

I will travel from the moon to see HATHAN and have him take care of my ingrown toenails. Since starting chemo this has become a rather painful issue and this very professional young doctor knows exactly what to do to not just treat my ingrowns in a gentle manner but I always walk away ‘feeling much much better’ especially at this ‘season’ of my life. I would recommend this Podiatrist Anytime!!! Thanks Hathan

in recommending PRIMARY FOOT CARE this practice. I have been attending for many years operated from a cosy restful and homely set up to a state of the art establishment ,and the persona of Leena and the staff is more humble than ever.
the skill and knowledge that Leena Hijazi possesses is like no other, and I have experienced many in my life time ,most importantly having to pay a partial of little charge out of pocket unlike the enthusiast rest.

Primary Foot Care Canterbury is an exceptional place with wonderful and kind staff that aims to help you the fastest way possible.
Dr Haitham is a wonderful podiatrist with outstanding knowledge and expertise. I had both my big toes with complicated ingrowns and were operated on twice before elsewhere and they didn't do the job properly.
When I went to go see Dr Haitham, he was very patient with me and all my questions and concerns. I appreciate how he took the time to sit down and talk.
I also had a phone call a few hours after the operation to check up and see how I was going then a couple of days later. After years of pain, Dr Haitham took care of things permanently for me. I can't tell you what a joy it is to be able to run again.
I can recommend this place without hesitation.
