I have been going to this medical centre for years even after my regular GP left (who I loved). Everyone was always lovely and I wanted to stay local.
I have a team of specialists that I know and keep in touch with this medical centre.
I went in this morning and was booked in with a GP that I have never seen before Dr Joanne.
This terrible excuse for a medical professional told me that she didn’t have time to go through my notes or call my specialist.
I am so utterly annoyed. This is not a GP and I would never recommend Joanne.

Extremely disappointed with the level of service....I've been a patient of the practice since 2005 when our family moved to Pottsville. Australia Day I had a small accident and split open an old wound that hadn't healed correctly, I called the surgery Friday morning and was unable to get in, they said call back Saturday morning..did and booked in for late Saturday afternoon, only to get a call at midday saying they could no longer see me as it is now classed as aftercare by the previous surgeon who performed the original mole removal!!!! Mind you I have had 2 positive melanomas removed by another surgeon, and my records are on file in potty and have had previous wound care there...One would think being a Saturday, a regular patient including family members for 12 years, that an exception could be made knowing that I wouldn't be able to see my surgeon until Monday.

I have been very impressed with the level of service and professionalism of the staff at Pottsville General Practice. In particular, I have been most impressed by Dr Rassaby and Dr Ngueyn. Dr Rassaby is one of the best doctors I have ever met - professional, compassionate, calm, supportive. He has looked after my daughter and grandson with the utmost care and reminds me of old school doctors who consider one's health holistically.
Dr Ngueyn I have met recently and she has been lovely - friendly, professional, and thorough.
In all, my experiences with Pottsville General Practice have been positive and worthy of a review reflecting how happy I've been with their service.

Rudest staff and doctors to exist. Every appointment over telephone or in person with any doctor there they make me feel horrible. The receptionists are also rude and entitled and get angry at you for just trying to be nice and get an appointment.

Most of the doctors here are great and the service is usually good. I did, however, find Dr Lewis Rassaby rude and arrogant. On finding his public social media profile and comments I found he has been making personal attacks on people while posting under his Facebook account associated with this practice. Avoid him at all costs. He discredits the practice.

It's a good ptactpra overall, there is lots of Doctors available though you may not get the same doctor the next time you visit which can make you feel like you're more a number and notes on their computer screens than an actual living person in front of them, so I don't feel that you leave feeling heard, validated or included in the your health.
They're GREAT if you need tests done, or if you know your illness or needs and get the chance to express them and feel that it makes a difference in the outcome of your consult. Or if your little one has a cold or needs their immunization done, you can usually get in that day, if not yhe next. But for that convenience, you are just a number, another cheque in their pay.
I know that seems cynical, but if you don't want to believe my review, go and check it out for yourself.
*Great place to call for •COMMUNITY DENTAL, •FLU SHOTS, •REFERRALS , & to •ORDER BLOODS or SCANS etc.
But if you are looking for continuity or developing a rapport/relationship with your G.P. Probably NOT the place to go.
**I do see a lot of AGING & ELDERLY PATIENTS there, but whether they're regular patients or not I don't know.
Good luck hope this helps

Don't confuse HealthOne with Total Health - in the same building but different practices. However, since Total Health have taken over the general practice has totally gone downhill. Wait times are ridiculous. Best to find somewhere - anywhere - else.
