Rude, abrupt and aggressive reception staff who don’t care one bit about patient confidentiality.
On the other hand, the medical staff are great. They are thorough, professional and easy to communicate with.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Management !!!!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Port Curtis Medical Centre, primarily due to the poor management and unprofessional behavior of their finance manager. I was appalled by the discriminatory attitude, which extended even toward my 6-month-old baby—a deeply upsetting and unacceptable experience.

Additionally, I had specifically booked an appointment with a particular doctor for my baby’s 6-month checkup. Upon arrival, I was informed that they had switched the doctor without notifying or consulting us beforehand. Such a lack of communication and disregard for patient consent is highly unprofessional.

I hope the management takes immediate steps to address these issues and ensure a more respectful and patient-centered approach in the future.

I would like to say thank you to you all at Port Curtis Medical Centre. I am a new customer.
I had a great experience from the phone call and getting appointment almost straight away through to the lovely receptionist and the Doctor Oo who was so caring and the pharmacist and his staff for the prompt service.
I’m moving to MacKay and I’m sad to be leaving Gladstone so hoping I will have a great experience there too.

The nurses were amazing, very friendly and competent. The admin staff out the front were also friendly and polite. The doctor was great although there was a bit of a wait but you get that i guess. Would recommend them highly.
