I literally don’t even know where to start. I’m not usually one to cut down a business, especially as most of my working career has been in hospitals including for Healthscope. I genuinely thought that I had seen incompetency in all its forms over the past 19 years of health care work but Pine Rivers Hospital well and truly takes the cake. Unfortunately the place has driven me to leave this review and make this statement….RUN!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!! Go anywhere else but here! You’re better off taking your chances with the public health system even with all of its issues. The referral system at this facility is broken, the staff are ignorant and unfortunately they do not appear to grasp how to schedule effectively. As somebody who successfully ran a very busy clinic in one of Brisbane’s busiest hospitals for years I understand what is going on here and what’s not. A whole bunch of “look busy but don’t be busy”.

Pine Rivers Private is a modern serene reputable Hospital. All staff constantly demostrate proffesionalism and compassion toward not only patients but each other. They go out of their way daily to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I have noting but the upmost repect or the Doctors, nurses and all staff at Pine Rivers and i am so thankful i have have thepleasure to be a patient here.

Started out as a relatively positive, straightforward experience but became a nightmare the more I attended. I felt like the place was more money-centric than patient centred. This was made evident on multiple occasions when my appointments would be rescheduled at the drop of a hat because of a payment error outside of my control. On multiple occasions, I left feeling extremely let down, chastised, belittled, and alone.

I have been coming here for 15 years, as an outpatient & an inpatient. Time does change things. The outpatient groups are terrific. The inpatient area( which I had been admitted MANY TIMES of people telling to, This one tho was myself admitting myself 🤣, has had its ups & downs. This time & Christmas 2024 was ok . But the previous year of Xmas 2023, was horrible, because of a nurse I shall not name, and she gave me a big DEATH STARE this admission. The end 🤣🤣

This review is just for Jackie (not sure if this is how they spell it). Jackie was the receptionist who took my call inquiring about wait time, costs and what to expect from the treatment process. Jackie was patient, understanding, kind and knowledgeable. They wern't frustrated with my lack of understanding and they explained to me the different treatment options. I mean this in the sense that Jackie took the time to explain that there are differences in pricing and treatment based on long term management with phyciatry and a once off visit for medication review. They explained the possible medical tests I might require the price for each kind of appointment. They lemented the difficulties we all go though finding appointments and trying to get information around how many sessions to plan for. I have called over 50 (at least) different phyciatrists over the past 6 months and have either not had appointments available, don't treat ADHD, or can not tell me how many appointments I would have to attend to get a yes or no to my question of can I be medicated. I have a wonderful treating team and have been suggested strongly to find a phyciatrist. The finding a phycitrsit part of my journey has been the hardest part so far. Jackie has been a small light that has given me the glimmer of hope I needed to keep pushing. A small conversation with a kind tone has made a great change to me and I want both Jackie and all health staff to know what a difference the good ones make. Thank you for giving me the energy to keep pushing. It means the world to me. Thank you Jackie.

I have just had my irrigation system fixed by the team. Although there was a view issues; they persevered & got it sorted.The irrigation system is working like a charm now; I take this opportunity to comment the plumbers; they were professional; on time & approachable & easy to converse with.

I've had approximately 6 stays at Pine Rivers Private Hospital the receptionist team and the TMS team were excellent the cleaners were very proud of their work and done a great job the the chef even those hands were tied he put food in a pot and turned into s* once again it's not their fault it's their budget as for the nurses forget it 90% of them don't care there are only there for their money and don't give a s* about Patience and you have to watch them when they're administrating your medication I recently booked in last Thursday and discharged four days later the b*** they hammered me with was unbearable I left in a worse estate than when I went in due to having put up with the nurses rudeness and that's if you ever seen them I won't name names but I just had a meeting with Claire the manager of nursing and unfortunately it got to me and I had to name names if you can give this place a very wide birth which I will be looking at in the DVA pay them 1061 a day for me being there I cannot believe me cannot see where the money goes someone is taken a cream off the cake and the cake after the meeting after a meeting today with Claire the manager of nursing we'll see how we go if no improvement I will be going to the managing director of nursing and if that fails I will be sending a Current Affair and email to look into this place

Was hoping to get treatment here but get told they have no admitting doctors taking any new patients? I’m sorry but you’re a private hospital how can you not have any available doctors? but I can feel free to see them as an out patient sounds like they just want to cash grab by seeing people as out patients opposed to seeing patients as a inpatient lmao
