While I need to acknowledge there are some wonderful nurses and support staff, the overall service provided to my father was terrible. The fact a doctor within the hospital decided to take my elderly father off a dementia tablet and discharged him without any consultation to his family is disgraceful. Lucky his chemist noticed the change and was able to let us know so we can discuss with his GP. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hospital.

A very close friend was admitted in critical condition 3 months ago and spent the majority of his time in ICU.
I would like to acknowledge the Staff of ICU, all the Doctors, nurses who cared for him during this time.
He has since been discharged and medically repatriated back to his home overseas.
Thankyou again and thankyou to Jo Wright and her amazing team for allowing us to visit every day and call her for updates every day.

29/4/2025 I was a day patient at Pindara Private hospital Gold Coast. What fabulous service.
Your department was beautifully presented so well done to your cleaning staff. You have friendly reception staff. Your admission nurse was very pleasant and orientated me to the plan of the day. Every nurse was fabulous, well-presented and spoke beautifully to all the patients. I was given a great discharge plan and staff made sure I had a good understanding of that plan.
Your team obviously enjoy their job and their team. Well done, Pindara Private

I want to extend my deepest thanks to the incredible team at Pindara Private Hospital for their role in my speedy recovery during my recent one-week stay. In particular, I want to acknowledge the amazing staff working in Ward 4F.

From the senior nurses to the junior team members, every question I had was answered with care, and support was consistently available whenever I needed it. The team’s professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help—always with a smile—made a difficult time much easier.

You’re a lively, compassionate group of people, and I’m truly grateful for the kindness and dedication you showed me throughout my stay.

Was in for 3 nights after surgery in January. Needs a refurbishment. The tv kept coming on during the night so I had to ask the nurses to reach up height behind it to turn it off at the wall. They have better things to be doing. Nursing staff were wonderful. The foos however is disgusting for a private hospital. I think it needs to be updated to the room service style like in other hospitals.

I had to visit Emergency whilst on holidays on the Gold Coast. I was cared for by Dr Lance Otto and Tiff. I could not be more grateful for the excellent care I received. I am back home now and my prognosis is excellent thank you to these amazing health care professionals. Thank you Dr Otto and Tiff, I believe it is because of you both that I will make a full recovery and regain full use of my left wrist.

I was gaslit and diagnosed based on a scan I never had. When I pulled the doctor up on it, the treating doctor then ordered the scan as it was never done, and the consultant reviewed me at the end of the day and proceeded to also diagnose me having not even reviewed the scan. I had to advocate for myself for the scan to be reviewed before he went home otherwise he wouldn’t have even looked at it. They treated me as if my severe pain was all in my head and that I am too young for anything to be wrong. I hadn’t been tolerating my diet for 2 days, not even clear fluids and I wasn’t given IV fluids. I was told when I arrived in emergency that I would be having a scope the following day. I spend the next day preparing with all necessary medications, and nil by mouth only to be told at 5pm that it wasn’t happening. The list goes on. Truthfully, I didn’t feel safe in this hospital as I was not taken seriously and I was treated like I was a waste of their time.
