Service would be fine for simple things that are not time sensitive or do not need follow up.
Initially I was quite shocked with how easy it was to book an appt, only 10 minutes away from actual time. Paid, waited for my video link and 1/2 hr later called. Couldn’t get through on current booking option so chose new booking option and spoke to someone. They told me someone would call me in 1-2hrs. Not what I was expecting. Very quick convo with doc who sent though request for X-ray, so seemed ok. Tried to call several times after to find out results/rebook, etc.. left message, emailed and rang multiple times. Eventually I got an email with results the next day, no follow up. I would not use them again, although the doc did do what was needed.

Booked an appointment for me providing no details as to how the appointment would occur. The Doctor (Dr Nekkmoee) was over an hour late when I asked for the appointment to cancelled and refunded the prepaid service fee, after being on hold for 20 minutes. I haven’t received the refund or any correspondence in return. Do not bother with this mob, can’t tell if they’re scam artists or just don’t care about the service they provide.
Update - had to involve my bank to obtain the refund, still haven’t received one email back from Phenix. Go elsewhere.

Very happy with the prompt appointment (was called within 20mins of submitting online booking - after hours on on a Friday night), appropriate assessment by a nurse practitioner and script emailed straight to me. Would definitely use again.

Teleconsult the day before around 4pm, no follow up call as detailed by the doctor on the phone call to advise where my prescription need to be emailed to.

I followed up the following morning at 8:30 as I still had no follow-up phone call and to advise of the prescription to my preferred pharmacy. Promised all has been sent.

Arrive to the pharmacy 2 1/2 hours later to be told that Phenix had not done anything and no scripts were sent.

I had a pre-booked PCR test to be performed and now I have to isolate for 24 hours without any medication because these guys didn’t send through the script on time highly unimpressed

Booked a video appointment to speak with a doctor. The doctor called via phone without video capability and was driving whilst speaking to me for my consultation.
He didn’t ask too many questions or provide a reasonable response to my symptoms, he just offered a medical certificate.

Wouldn’t recommend.

Phenix Health, thank you for your response but I think you missed the point. I’m not disappointed due to being called over the phone, I’m disappointed in paying $45 for a doctors 15 minute serious to be called whilst he was driving. It was clear he didn’t have any focus on what I was saying or my needs because he was focused on driving. I paid for a service and I had a 2 minute phone call and was told it’s probably just viral, I’ll send you a doctors certificate. My needs were to speak and be heard and treated by a medical professional.
Your doctors shouldn’t be taking consultations whilst driving.

Shockingly poor attitude and service from the Philipino-sounding lady who does their phone service. My 83 year old father caught Covid on the weekend. He had pre-approval from his GP for one of the Covid antivirals, which are time-sensitive - they work best when administered early. Unfortunately we needed a locum service because he fell sick on the weekend. It was a mistake ringing this place. We called, booked online and paid by 5:30pm, called back at 9pm but this lady was hopeless - could not tell us even if the doctor would contact us that same day - "maybe tomorrow"? Sounded like she was on valium, drugged out of her mind. Had no sense of urgency. Completely ignored what we were saying about the urgency of receiving antivirals early, dismissed our concerns with a total IDGAF attitude, like she couldn't care less. Shocking to get this from an Australian medical service. At one point we wondered if it was even real - could it be a scam? Harvest your credit card details from their website? It was that bad. Eventually, at 10:30pm (5 hours later) the GP contacted my father and wrote the prescription. 30 minutes before the late night pharmacy closed, so we managed to get antivirals into him before the day ended and they seem to be working. I'm sure the GP was really busy, but that can be alleviated by proper professional communication. This lady should not be working the phones. Sack her. Please replace her with somebody compentent who actually cares. People's lives are at stake.

Edit: I'm liable for a refund so they email'd me a new set appointment (at 1:30am!!) without confirming with me first. I don't want another appointment I want my money back. Dirty sneaky thieves the lot of yas

They're happy to take your money for an appointment, then they'll cancel it 10mins later without explanation. Still waiting on my refund, they won't even give me a rough timeframe for when I might receive it. Literally robbed.
